“Pod volunteer was very helpful. They always got back to me within a few days. The only thing I would say is that I was worried I was staying just I we 30 days and didn't need a visa, and when I asked pod they assured me that I would be fine. When I got to the airport I was almost in not trouble because I was there just over 30 days. But other than that I would recommend pod to anyone.”

“Everything was well-organised and I was made to feel very welcome and supported. Such a rewarding experience, from helping the school children to access an education to organising crafts and games at the orphanage and disabled school. There was also many opportunities to also experience the culture.”

“Pod is an excellent choice for volunteering abroad and the support they provide for both volunteers and the different projects is outstanding. I have recently returned from the children's day care project in Arequipa, Peru where I spent 6 weeks and had the time of my life!! I can't stop telling everyone how amazing it was. I really feel that I have returned a better person.”

“Becky was super sweet, informative and supportive during the initial process. She help me understand what I needed to do, deadlines, payments, forms, etc. It was also nice that she checked up on me, while I was in Arequipa, to find out if everything was going well and if I was happy. I never felt alone during the volunteer experience. When the two weeks were over, Becky checked to see that I had a good experience and she was excited to hear about the trip and see pictures.”

“The Pod team were so friendly and always happy to help with any worries or enquires I had. Made every step of the volunteering process clear and easy so I had no unnecessary concerns and could look forward to the volunteering and enjoying myself. The volunteering itself was an amazing experience that I'd love to do again and would recommend to everybody!”

“POD enabled me to meet new people and make some meaningful change halfway across the world. The paper work was very compact and easy to follow, and the POD coordinators were amazing when it came to answering any and all questions I had. The on site contacts were incredible when it came to making me feel safe and ensuring that we were worry free when we were working and during our off time.”

“I had a couple of issues with my flights when I was going out (nothing to do with POD), but POD were so helpful and friendly, and helped me sort it over the phone. Had a great time volunteering and would definitely go through them again.”

“Just came back from volunteering at the Cheetah Centre in South Africa. It was an amazing, life-changing experience. Pod made the booking and pre-trip process so easy. Ellie sent very detailed information on what to expect, what to pack, helped arrange travel insurance and was very responsive to my questions. She even checked in with me while there to make sure all was going well. I have recommended Pod to others and will definitely use them in the future for other volunteer opportunities! Thank you so much.”
