“Unlike a lot of agencies, the platform fee is actually reasonable, which is a better deal for tutors, parents and students, because tutors can earn more, while parents pay less, and students therefore get greater access.
I also appreciate how much more responsive PMT is than other agencies. One in particular (that shall remain unnamed) charge 35% platform fee from what the parent pays and can't even be reached by phone!
The only thing I would change: please make it so availability and lesson bookings can be done in 15 minute chunks, rather than 30 minute chunks.

“I engage with PMT for 121 tutoring. The PMT platform is very easy to use and showcases a range of different tutors. I found the experience badges useful to identify tutors with SEND and Examiner experience. The platform is flexible so you can book in advance but cancel with 48 hours if plans change. This has allowed me to secure sessions in advance but also change session times when there has been a clash of activities. The reviews are very useful in guiding choice of tutor and you can test out compatibility with a tutor by booking a single lesson. There is no pressure to continue if it doesn't work out. We have been able to find the perfect tutor for my son through PMT. The platform is also a fantastic learning tool. The virtual classroom is high quality and my son finds it easy to access notes from previous lessons. My son does not usually like engaging online but he finds the PMT platform very user friendly.
