“Excellent platform clearly displaying the tutor's attributes alongside transparent costs. Being technologically limited I sometimes couldn't easily find the tutors and messages I had already engaged with, instead being offered new ones by default. I also had to join an alternative platform to find an A-level history tutor, otherwise I can't fault it..
The two tutors we engaged with were excellent, competent, committed and compassionate. I'lll use PMT tutors again in the future.”

Lessons can be cancelled without charge up to 48 hours before they are due to begin. After this point, tutors can choose whether to charge in full, partially, or not at all. This gives tutors the flexibility to take individual circumstances into account when deciding how to handle a late cancellation.
At the same time, a cancellation policy is important because tutors reserve that time for each student and may be unable to fill the lesson slot at short notice. The policy therefore helps to protect tutors from losing income as a result of late cancellations.

To clarify, we only take payment once a lesson has started. However, to guarantee payment to our tutors, we do carry out a card authorisation check up to 72 hours before the lesson begins. Depending on your bank, this authorisation may appear as if you have been charged.

“It is a really excellent platform and my son is really pleased with his tutor so far. My only comment would be that during the process of finding a tutor, I narrowed down the pricing between £30 and £60, but I couldn't seem to find a way of ordering them from lowest to highest price, which I found a little frustrating. Other than that though, a brilliant platform, which I'm sure will be helping hundreds of students! Many thanks.”
