“It is a nice product, convenient for regular milk pumping. However, the cleaning parts are very critical. The regular removing and washing of parts can damage the suction power.”

“I am so disappointed and upset with Pippeta and the breast pump I purchased. I was pumping daily to boost my supply using a Medela Electric pump, which was great but I wanted something portable. A friend recommended the Pippeta. I ordered the older version and was so excited when it arrived. After the first use I knew it wasn’t right, I had cuts on my areola and it made it sore to breastfeed after use. The power pack on top of the cup was also loose and had to be pushed down to get it to engage with the pump. It only yielded about 1/4 of the volume of milk my Medela pump does. I was very upset and contacted customer service who sent out a replacement cup and suggested a bigger flange. I tried again. I got a little more milk but still my areola were getting damaged even on the low settings. I would not use this product again, three days later and it is still uncomfortable to feed on that side. I contacted customer service but they were not willing to refund or exchange the product. In contrast Medela fixed a technical fault with my other pump in less that 24 hours offering an exchange or refund. For me this was a waste of £70+!”

“Dont think about just buy these pumps. I was having such a stressful time thinking I'm not making enough milk for my now 3 week old. I'm now pumping a extra 2oz after feeding my baby.”

“I bought myself a dual pump so I have the option of single or dual pumping depending on how much I need to express. The pump arrived very quickly and is very straightforward to use. I've only tried it once but I had it on single mode on one side while my baby fed on the other and was amazed to get 3 oz in just 7 mins!”
