“I never thought I'd be waxing lyrical about a pest control service, but honestly, these guys were just brilliant.
- They identified the likely problem really quickly on the phone and via email (I sent them a photo) and were clearly knowledgeable about cockroaches
- They were realistic about what to expect (i.e. this type of cockroach can't always be removed completely long term) but then went and overdelivered, and did get rid of them
- Charles was just brilliant on his visits, friendly, thorough and went above and beyond, visiting more than they had to, and most importantly, he got the job done!
They were marginally more expensive then a couple of other places I looked at, but so happy I went for them. It did take a good number of visits to stop them coming back.

“As a company we use Pest Defence in our local sites. Today I came into work (I am a lone worker) to find a pigeon which had been mauled by a fox but was barely alive with a lot of its body missing and in pain. I could not bring myself to put it out of its misery so I contacted Andrew Lock my local contractor and he was here on site within half an hour to help me and the pigeon. It was a great relief as I didn't want the bird to suffer and my elderly residents to get upset seeing this poor creature. I can't recommend this company enough as nothing is too much trouble and it doesn't matter which member of the team comes out to you they are all super friendly and professional. “Excellent service, by knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff. I tried other pest controllers before who couldn't get rid of my squirrel infestation and seemed more interested in upselling other options/repeat visits to me without actually getting rid of the problem for me. Trevor & Ben did the job for the fee they quoted- it took a while but they always turned up cheerfully and promptly; they offered expert guidance on what we needed to do and kept up their side of the bargain by catching all the squirrels until they were all gone. I've already recommended them to friends and family and although I hope I never have cause to call them in again if we do have a pest control problem of any sort in the future I know who I will be calling.”
