Borrowed a book on modeling panther tanks he didn't want to swap or sell it I looked on amazon it was overbudget form at between £80 and £120 i was about to give up panzerwrecks flicked up on my phone £26 not an offer no fussing about delivered in pristine condition within 2 days free. No constant harassing emails begging you to buy their products either hopefully it stays that way. It's only my first time buying.

Overall very good service. A slight delay between ordering and despatch but nothing of any real consequence. Packaging very good and well up to the rigours of international travel. The book I ordered was listed as "damaged" but this was far less than I expected. I am impressed with this firm and would certainly use them again.

I purchased the three latest MIG books: King Tiger; Russian Front Profiles and the Waffen SS profiles. The three books arrived in good shape from UK to Australia. The MIG books are worth having and represent good value (additional postage costs to reach Australia, of course, but that's not Panzerwrecks fault). Comments: - The King Tiger book is a softcover of 54 pages, presented in colour. I have 'Super King' plus much else on the Pzkw VI , and am currently building a 1/16 King Tiger so I wanted the MIG book not so much for the photos (although there are some additional useful ones), but for the profiles. Some are of well known vehicles, but others represent some lesser known and later vehicles. Generally well done, and of course subject to interpretation. Worth the purchase. Both the colour profile books are softcover with 80 pages. - The Waffen SS Profile publication is useful with some interesting profiles, including some unusual ones. Again well presented, and provides some ideas for future models. Some profiles are well known vehicles, but a good range of other less well known vehicles. -The Russian Front publication is similar in terms of presentation and quality. A good range of vehicles, with both well known and more unusual profiles. It has a short but useful series of notes on Russian camouflage colours. One minor quibble: the book is titled 'Eastern Front: Russian vehicles 1935-1945'. It certainly does cover that subject, but be aware that quite a number of the profiles are of Russian vehicles 'under new management': Finnish, German, etc, showing them in captured service and often in repainted axis colours. For example Trucks: 8 profiles, 3 of which are in axis service BA series armoured cars: 6 profiles, 3 of which are in axis service T40-T70 series: 7 profiles, 3 of which are in axis service KV 2: 6 profiles, 4 of which are in axis service/markings ...and so on. The balance is better in the sections on T34s, ISIIs, etc. I would have preferred rather less of the axis schemes and markings, but others may well disagree. Still worth buying. Note that all three items have the usual range of minor typos and proofreading issues endemic to modern publishing.

How about a North American distributor to cut down on shipping costs?
