“This trip was one of the best things that have ever happened to me in my life. I come from a very small country located in Central America named El Salvador and I was the only one of my country in the college I assisted to, I was proud of representing my small country at Oxford Royale Academy. I took a course named Introduction to Leadership and it was the best course that I could have ever chosen, I learned different leadership styles and how famous leaders the world has known took decisions thinking about others instead of themselves. The course surpassed what I expected in an incredible way. In addition to the amazing classes I received, I had the opportunity to visit beautiful places around Oxford and also getting to know amazing people that know I can call my friends and that I hope I will never loose contact with them. The last thing I can say is that I was the luckiest girl in the world because I won a scholarship from ORA and they were the ones that made this experience possible for me. I will always be gratefully with ORA for giving me the opportunity to go to Europe for the first time, the education I had in those two weeks, the opportunity of meeting amazing friends from all around the world and the memories that will always live in my mind and heart. “In the first days of my stay in Oxfrod Royale Academy I was a bit worried about what was going to follow during these 2 weeks but as days were passing by I realized why I was there so i started taking the whole thing much warmer. To sum up if it wasnā€™t the best ,it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life and I would seriously consider to attend ORA again next year. I met a lot of people that with most of them we became friends, REAL friends that we will be in touch for a long time. I would never imagine that 2 weeks would be more than enough to become a family with the other students. The academic courses were also very interesting and fascinating. It was a life experience that I will never forget and I am sure that one day I am going to see these guys once again.”

“Oxford Royale Academy organised an amazing summer program that made my vacations fruitful and productive. The courses and the activities were well planned and organised and we're also a lot of fun. I personally enjoyed the Stock Market Challenge activity as it helped me learn a great knowledge about stocks. All the teachers and staff were very highly friendly and approachable. “Wow! I can't believe I got to be in such an amazing program. What I thought was going to be just a computer science course turned out to be such a challenging, exciting, and rewarding experience. I met many diverse and passionate people who really helped me grow as a person. Learning from my classmates' experiences in their home countries, working with them in class, and sharing stories.. it was all very insightful. As well, the staff were approachable and memorable. I found it quite useful to talk to them about my questions about university life and choices. They were also my friends- they gave me the push I needed to perform in the talent show (which I won!). I learned what I was capable of, both in school and singing. Whether it be the staff or students, I've made some great friends on this trip and they've enabled me to feel more confident in myself!”

An Oxford Royale summer school was really a masterpiece in my dreams. Engagement, pleasure and involvement are felt and innovations was made by me. It is extraordinarily amazing that a class could really make me feel so much progress and such deep involvement in such short period of time. Thanks to the active classes and the enlightening style provided by Oxford Royale, I could let myself feel free to explore the entire world of academic knowledge. Thanks Oxford that provides me with such great experiences! I certainly have to talk about the different class experiences Iā€™ve had in the curriculums. Classes are shown in comprehensive and vivid methods. Iā€™ve received much more information in these classes than back to my hometown and amazingly I caught all the points in classes, thanks to the structuralized textbooks and the efforts the professor has made. Plus, Oxford Royale has given me a positive introduction to English-style class. Taught in classes with less than 20 people, students are taken care of carefully and points of views are spread out in a free way. The western education system is of better variety and it stresses motivation more than Chinese classes do. In class, short interruptions that are contributive to the development are accepted and new topics of extension produced in this way is a shining point of Oxford as long as the advanced and mature teaching mode. I could CERTAINLY recommend Oxford Royale to students, especially those from China. Following my professor, Mr. Graham Cowgill, who has been with abundant, professional background experience and ultimate patience to explain and quote the basic theories of economy, so as to lead a beginner like me to enter this world of business and enterprise. Through his detailed explanations, varied extended resources provided, enlightening and orderliness schedule of curriculum, I was able to have the courage to face difficulties. To conclude, Iā€™ve met and followed a very unforgettable and significant professor. The most significant memory with my professor is the initiative helps he provides me with. Project is a damn difficult thing, to be frank. The most important factor is where to where to put hands into the whole thing. Graham just got into my team and did some checking and vital points were raised. When business analysis were done in the mission, he just came and asked about each feature of the product, giving inspiring questions that are firmly linked to the business world and academic contents in the textbook. Facing his questions the group made reassignments and new designs and the final results proved to be satisfactory. That is different from most teachers who directly provide answers. Another shining point of Graham is his encouragement and support after class. Each time I ask questions, he would always provide informative explanations and adopt the inspiring way giving lectures. Sometimes his writings on the board, or on my studentā€™s guide, could be even more informative and complex than those written on class. Perhaps my courage and interest of business is enhanced by his effort of help, and through which I activate my full effort and focus, getting the Effort Prize finally. Iā€™ve talked a lot about academic things. However, though it is called an ā€œacademyā€, what Oxford Royale covers is much more than academic advances. Activities for fun and for extra curriculum knowledge considerably enhanced the tripā€™s delight. Model Stocks and Share Market gave me the first practice of my course, though the loop playback of background music ā€œGDFRā€ and ā€œLowā€ indicated my results as a beginner; the Great ORA debate and the MUN told me that I still have to be humble even facing debating and political issues which I considered I was skilled in. Tours and dance parties were formed in the ways I had never experienced before, giving me a new way to explore and free myself. Oxford Royale is also great for its student body. Students from more than 100 countries filled the whole campus. To a large extent, this is one of the most challenging and interesting part when I was staying in Oxford. Learning about ā€œBonjourā€, ā€œheavy industryā€ and talking about ā€œblocked Googleā€, we put down our prejudice, living deliberately, living deep, and smudging the marrows and the extremes in our lives and views ā€“ quite educational. There are so much fantastic experiences in Oxford Royale that they could not be concluded, neither to be listed. Thanks Oxford Royale that has given me such a fascinating experience, putting a dent in my universe.”
