“We were so fortunate to have been recommended to Oakdene Roof Solutions for our new conservatory solid roof conversion. The pricing was transparent as you are able to get a quote online, so as not to have any need to barter and no shocks unlike when being priced by some visiting companies !! Everyone at Oakdene is so passionate about their high standards that they try to achieve this at all times. Jill is super efficient in every aspect of the administration and organisation of the company. Peter who visited our home (several times)really has his heart and soul in the company and knows his product inside out.A wealth of information ! Our installation team of Andy and Ben were absolute masters of their skills and gave us so much confidence with their care and expertise,and always remembering to leave us nice and tidy ready for the next day. Also the plastering team were brilliant. We rarely leave reviews,but on this occasion felt we must let others know of our complete satisfaction with Oakdene roof solutions of Northampton. “Well all we can say about Oakdene Roof Solutions is they are amazing! We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering changing their conservatory to a solid roof. Like other customers from our initial enquiry with Jill, Peter coming to visit our home and provide all the information and his expertise to Andy and Ben the installers the plastering team and Simon the electrician we could not fault any of their work it was carried out with the upmost professionalism and care. This is all in addition to the emails and telephone calls that kept us updated with what will be happening next. We are so pleased with the outcome and not only has our conservatory been transformed but also how we now use the space daily! This review is a little late the work was carried out in July 2025, as we have been waiting for furniture to arrive so could provide photos of the completed look. Thank you to everyone at Oakdene!”

“I can wholeheartedly recommend Oakdene Roofing if you are considering a solid roof replacement for your conservatory. From my initial online inquiry I was contacted by Jill in the office who arranged for Peter to visit and discuss my requirements who was very professional and knowledgeable. I pointed out some concerns I had regarding the existing guttering downpipe going through the polycarbonate roof which was causing some leaking problems and he explained how this could be overcome. There was also some additional work which I also requested to replace a UPVC upstairs bedroom window above the conservatory with privacy film and some soffits above. The installation went smoothly and the finished result was a testament to the fine craftsmanship carried out by Andy and Ben together with the plastering team Russell and electrician Simon who I found were all very friendly helpful and courteous and kept things neat and tidy throughout the process. Communication was excellent with updates via email and phone and I was reassured every step of the way if I had any questions. I am a very happy customer and glad that I went with Oakdene for the project.”

“This is a very professional company with very skilled workers. We had a conservatory roof changed to a proper roof. The whole process was very smooth from the beginning with timely correspondence from Jill, Peter coming to our house twice to explain the process and to help us visualize the new roof. Andy and Ben who installed the roof worked hard and the roof was done in less than 3 days. There was no any problem or any mess left behind. They were just pleasant people and skilled workers. We never had any company before that worked so easy and so professional like Oakdene.”

“Fantastic to work with. Peter was very informative from the start. Gave excellent support from start to finish, working with us to get approval from a Heritage Foundation. Clean and tidy work, and Jill in the office is brilliant, effective communication and support. I would recommend to anyone who wishes to change their conservatory roof.”

“From the initial visit I was impressed with Peter's knowledge and attitude. There was no pressure sales, he gave us the information and left us to make the decision. We decided to have a new Conservatory as well as the new roof. The workmen were excellent, Andy, Zac and Ben worked solidly and left the place very tidy every day. Jill in the office kept me informed regarding building Control and was there if we had any questions. I cannot recommend this Company highly enough and we are going to have them back next year for a replacement front door.”

“Oakdene proved to be very professional at every point of contact with promises fulfilled all the way through the process. “We used Oakdene Roof Solutions for a replacement roof on our conservatory in March 2025. The work undertaken has an excellent finish both inside and out and we are very pleased with the end result. Each of the trades used were efficient, friendly, punctual, and tidy. I would recommend anyone to consider Oakdene Roof Solutions as the supplier for this type of work. John & Kay Ward. “We have recently had Oakdene Roofs convert our glass roofed, wooden framed conservatory roof into a solid, insulated, tiled roof with a couple of Velux roof lights/windows, and wow, what a transformation. The new roof has made a big difference to the look of the house and compliments the 200-year-old cottage. The room is temperate and usable, a pleasure to be in. Everyone we met and spoke to were helpful, professional and skilled at what they do, from the initial visit by Peter to all the tradesmen that constructed the roof, plastered the inside and the electrician for installing downlights in a room where no previous lighting circuit existed. Peter came back at the end to complete the lime pointing. Everyone took great pride in their work and kept the place tidy throughout, which was commented positively on by our neighbours. Massive thanks to Jill in the office, keeping us informed throughout the various stages of the process and co-ordinating the rest of the team. In our case, there was the added hurdle of Listed Building Consent, and Oakdene helps us through this with the help of Craig @ Conservatory Designs.”

“Best decision ever made. Great company, kept us informed of their anticipated starting date. The work was done in the early part of this year 2025 so starting date very dependent on the weather. When work started the guys arrived promptly stripping the polycarbonate roof off and clearing up as they went along. Conservatory weather proofed overnight. The standard of work was exceptional and I’m fussy as I was in matching trades before retiring. Plasterers followed and finish superb. Finally the 4 lights were fitted with the dimmer switch. Everything cleaned up and windows and their frames all wiped clean. Prospective customers welcome to view.”

“Oakdene Roff Solutions are a great team. From the start of enquiry to finalisation of the project they kept me updated at all times , which is very important as the customer. Their team of installers work to a high standard at all times which is clearly seen in the new upgraded roof, clean as you go policy was excellent throughout the project. “I would absolutely recommend Oakdene as Peter listened to what I was looking for, made suggestions, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I had a conservatory which was just a room only used as getting to the garden in the summer, and locked away in the winter. I now have a renamed “garden room” which is fabulous. I’ve had so many comments about it. The guys were all incredibly tidy and thorough, and I was kept well informed throughout the whole process. I can’t fault them at all. I have an additional room to my house which will be well used. Thank you Jill, Peter and the guys. I had a lovely Christmas in my new garden room.”

“Appointing Oakdene to replace out Conservatory roof was one of the best decisions we've ever made. From the first visit from Peter to final completion of the replacement roof the company have been exemplary. All the staff involved - in the office, the installation guys, the electricians and the plasterer have been professional and the work they've delivered has been excellent. Nothing has been too much trouble and the finished conservatory is like a new extension. Over the past few days with some freezing temperatures we've really noticed the warmer and cosier feel so we're pretty confident that when temperatures rise next summer that it will be a much more pleasant and usable room. Thank you to everyone at Oakdene.”

“Cant recommend Oakdene enough. Having researched the market and met with several suppliers, we decided to go with Oakdene for many reasons but primarily because of Peter. He is a very knowledgeable building constructor and one that gets involved with the project from start to the end. Indeed the whole Oakdene team are very customer focussed - Jill and Adam in the office kept us informed of the schedule throughout. Andy and Ben are skilled craftsman that worked tirelessly in the rain most days to ensure our complicated roof conversion was done to meet our high expectations. Simon the electrician was great at making the electrical changes we needed and ensuring compliance with current regulations. Regretfully we did not get to meet the plasterers but the results of their labour is a superb looking ceiling. We are so glad we went with Oakdene - so happy with the outcome. They done a tremendous conversation. My wife says she never imagined the "new conservatory" to look so good, inside out. Many many thanks to them all.”

“After much deliberation as to which company to use following our decision to replace our conservatory glass roof with a solid one, we decided to go with Oakdene Roof Solutions Ltd. I can honestly say that this decision was the one of the best we had ever made. The roof has now been on for about 8 months now and has been a joy throughout the summer. As we enter the Autumn / Winter period, it has already shown the benefits regarding warmth and heating costs. I cannot thank Oakdene enough for the professionalism, expertism and workmanship in undertaking this project and without hesitation, would highly recommend this company.”
