“Peter and his team replaced my conservatory roof and they did an excellent job. The workmanship was first class on every front, the men were polite, tidy, punctual and excellent at their crafts. I am 100% happy with the outcome and would highly recommend them .”

“I apologise for not writing a review sooner, it bears no reflection on the work completed. I went with Oakdene on recommendation from a friend and I couldn't have been happier with the result. The process was smooth from start to finish. Everyone involved did what they said they would in the time frame they gave. The area was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Any queries or concerns were answered and dealt with quickly and they worked with me to fit in with my own schedule. Jill was very supportive with paperwork and communication. The end result is a spacious additional room to the house which is functional and fit for purpose. I would definitely recommend.”

“Oakdene have just finished a conservatory roof conversion for us and we couldn't recommend them more highly. We took a bit of time to choose them and their reviews were one of the reason we did so - they were all excellent and we now understand why. They were great from start to finish - Peter came out sevreral times to discuss what we wanted - he was the only contractor honest enough to tell us that we needed to change the shape of our existing roof as the slope would not provide the required drainage for the new composite tiles. He also took us to see an example of another conservatory roof Oakdene had recently converted. Andy and Ben who completed all the roof work were absolutely, outstanding, so professional and diligent in their work. A couple of small unexpected challenges came up during the work for which they outlined the options clearly, recommending a sensible way ahead. Really nice guys to deal with as well. Russell and Steve, who did the plastering also did a first class job as did the electrical team of David, Simon and Alfie. Not forgetting Jill in the office who pulled everything together in a very friendly, efficient way. We couldn't be more pleased with the result, in perfect time for Christmas.”

“After extensive research, including quotes from several companies and considering everything from internal insulation to a full rebuild, we chose Oakdene for their quick and extremely helpful initial responses, their informative and non-pushy survey, and their prompt follow-up to our further questions. It was a significant investment, but it is already paying off as the room is much warmer already and no longer suffers from severe heat loss. This has no doubt already increased the value of our home beyond the cost of the work, and it is a huge improvement on the previously unsuitable glass box. The work was quoted for in November and was completed in early December, well before Christmas. We now have valuable extra floor space and a fully usable dining room that is very easy to heat. We will see how it performs when the outside temperature drops below 0°C, but for now we can now remove the broken internal door and are in no rush to add an extra radiator or heat source, which would have been unthinkable before. I was a little sceptical of all the glowing reviews, but here I am writing my own. Andy and his team, who carried out the framing and building work during cold and damp weather, were excellent and had the structure watertight on the first day. The plasterers followed with a top professional job, and the electrician carefully completed the finishing touches. All workers were friendly, professional and very tidy. As a small business manager myself, I have genuinely learnt a great deal from the way Oakdene runs their business and provides exemplary service throughout the entire enquiry, booking and building process. I have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“We were so fortunate to have been recommended to Oakdene Roof Solutions for our new conservatory solid roof conversion. The pricing was transparent as you are able to get a quote online, so as not to have any need to barter and no shocks unlike when being priced by some visiting companies !! Everyone at Oakdene is so passionate about their high standards that they try to achieve this at all times. Jill is super efficient in every aspect of the administration and organisation of the company. Peter who visited our home (several times)really has his heart and soul in the company and knows his product inside out.A wealth of information ! Our installation team of Andy and Ben were absolute masters of their skills and gave us so much confidence with their care and expertise,and always remembering to leave us nice and tidy ready for the next day. Also the plastering team were brilliant. We rarely leave reviews,but on this occasion felt we must let others know of our complete satisfaction with Oakdene roof solutions of Northampton. “Well all we can say about Oakdene Roof Solutions is they are amazing! We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering changing their conservatory to a solid roof. Like other customers from our initial enquiry with Jill, Peter coming to visit our home and provide all the information and his expertise to Andy and Ben the installers the plastering team and Simon the electrician we could not fault any of their work it was carried out with the upmost professionalism and care. This is all in addition to the emails and telephone calls that kept us updated with what will be happening next. We are so pleased with the outcome and not only has our conservatory been transformed but also how we now use the space daily! This review is a little late the work was carried out in July 2025, as we have been waiting for furniture to arrive so could provide photos of the completed look. Thank you to everyone at Oakdene!”

“I can wholeheartedly recommend Oakdene Roofing if you are considering a solid roof replacement for your conservatory. From my initial online inquiry I was contacted by Jill in the office who arranged for Peter to visit and discuss my requirements who was very professional and knowledgeable. I pointed out some concerns I had regarding the existing guttering downpipe going through the polycarbonate roof which was causing some leaking problems and he explained how this could be overcome. There was also some additional work which I also requested to replace a UPVC upstairs bedroom window above the conservatory with privacy film and some soffits above. The installation went smoothly and the finished result was a testament to the fine craftsmanship carried out by Andy and Ben together with the plastering team Russell and electrician Simon who I found were all very friendly helpful and courteous and kept things neat and tidy throughout the process. Communication was excellent with updates via email and phone and I was reassured every step of the way if I had any questions. I am a very happy customer and glad that I went with Oakdene for the project.”

“This is a very professional company with very skilled workers. We had a conservatory roof changed to a proper roof. The whole process was very smooth from the beginning with timely correspondence from Jill, Peter coming to our house twice to explain the process and to help us visualize the new roof. Andy and Ben who installed the roof worked hard and the roof was done in less than 3 days. There was no any problem or any mess left behind. They were just pleasant people and skilled workers. We never had any company before that worked so easy and so professional like Oakdene.”

“From the initial visit I was impressed with Peter's knowledge and attitude. There was no pressure sales, he gave us the information and left us to make the decision. We decided to have a new Conservatory as well as the new roof. The workmen were excellent, Andy, Zac and Ben worked solidly and left the place very tidy every day. Jill in the office kept me informed regarding building Control and was there if we had any questions. I cannot recommend this Company highly enough and we are going to have them back next year for a replacement front door.”

“We used Oakdene Roof Solutions for a replacement roof on our conservatory in March 2025. The work undertaken has an excellent finish both inside and out and we are very pleased with the end result. “We have recently had Oakdene Roofs convert our glass roofed, wooden framed conservatory roof into a solid, insulated, tiled roof with a couple of Velux roof lights/windows, and wow, what a transformation. The new roof has made a big difference to the look of the house and compliments the 200-year-old cottage. The room is temperate and usable, a pleasure to be in. Everyone we met and spoke to were helpful, professional and skilled at what they do, from the initial visit by Peter to all the tradesmen that constructed the roof, plastered the inside and the electrician for installing downlights in a room where no previous lighting circuit existed. Peter came back at the end to complete the lime pointing. Everyone took great pride in their work and kept the place tidy throughout, which was commented positively on by our neighbours. Massive thanks to Jill in the office, keeping us informed throughout the various stages of the process and co-ordinating the rest of the team. In our case, there was the added hurdle of Listed Building Consent, and Oakdene helps us through this with the help of Craig @ Conservatory Designs.”

“Best decision ever made. Great company, kept us informed of their anticipated starting date. The work was done in the early part of this year 2025 so starting date very dependent on the weather. When work started the guys arrived promptly stripping the polycarbonate roof off and clearing up as they went along. Conservatory weather proofed overnight. The standard of work was exceptional and I’m fussy as I was in matching trades before retiring. Plasterers followed and finish superb. Finally the 4 lights were fitted with the dimmer switch. Everything cleaned up and windows and their frames all wiped clean. Prospective customers welcome to view.”

“Oakdene Roff Solutions are a great team. From the start of enquiry to finalisation of the project they kept me updated at all times , which is very important as the customer. Their team of installers work to a high standard at all times which is clearly seen in the new upgraded roof, clean as you go policy was excellent throughout the project. “I would absolutely recommend Oakdene as Peter listened to what I was looking for, made suggestions, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I had a conservatory which was just a room only used as getting to the garden in the summer, and locked away in the winter. I now have a renamed “garden room” which is fabulous. I’ve had so many comments about it. The guys were all incredibly tidy and thorough, and I was kept well informed throughout the whole process. I can’t fault them at all. I have an additional room to my house which will be well used. Thank you Jill, Peter and the guys. I had a lovely Christmas in my new garden room.”
