“After a very long search I purchased the Mark 2 E-motion cruiser and what a bike , the fat tyres soak up larger bump together with front suspension and most comfortable ,it pedals very easy without any power on as good as a normal bike but power there when you need it, I did 22km up and about the quontocks with no issues ,I'm late sixties😯 and it fits in the back of my Audi tt coupe no problem and together with the British company to call for advise anytime just ticks the box for me. Excellent five star ××××× service.”

“After using the X-Cross 520 for almost two months now, I can say that I am pleased with the bike. In terms of the delivery, the contact and service from Phil was great. The bike did arrive with a couple of wires detached from the rear light which was unfortunate as I had to call the team for a solution. It did involve having to order an appropriate spanner to remove the bolts from the plastic covering on the light and fix the wiring, but it worked fine after I did that. The person I spoke to over the phone was nice and friendly, but I would say for him to be a bit more mindful during future calls as it was a bit condescending to say that I should ask my husband to fix it with his tools. The bike has been a joy to ride. However, there was a previous issue with the kickstand where when it was retracted, it would connect with the crankarm on each pedal rotation. This made an annoying and constant clunking sound on every trip, and it had unfortunately caused a lot of superficial damage on both the kickstand and crankarm. I took the bike to my local bike shop, where I also have my services done and they couldn't find a solution. Upon corresponding with Mark 2, it was agreed to have someone come and have a look at the bike as there was also an issue with the battery. Since it was delivered, my partner, the staff at the local bike shop and I hadn't been able to remove the battery from the bike, despite following the correct instructions. Despite being able to charge it whilst it was connected to the bike, it wasn't ideal for security purposes when leaving it in bike sheds, etc. Upon inspection, the issue with the crankarm was resolved by a case of needing to knock it in further, beyond the point it automatically stops when normally retracted. I would say that this wasn't an obvious solution, despite being insinuated as such as surely it should close the full way anyway? Nonetheless, the kickstand was replaced which I appreciated, and I was grateful for the time and effort taken to have the bike looked at. The battery was certainly budged in tight and the bike had to be hand-hammered a couple of times before it became loose. After being lubricated, removing the battery was fine after that. Since then, using the bike has been brilliant and great for commuting to work. I have appreciated the additional assistance from the team in resolving the prior issues, hence my rating.”

Also worth noting is that we now have a trusted workshop in Bristol. “I had only used it around our village but yesterday took it out for a ride along the cycle track near us. The track was far muddier and wet than I expected with some very soggy and challenging areas. The bike was great and performed well in the conditions. It is comfortable to ride and the screen easy to read. I love it.”

“Being young and pretty fit, I never thought I would actually make a use of an ebike. However, when I was looking to get two for my parents, who are both in their 50s and 60s, I really fell in love with the look of Mark2 bikes. Both x-cross and scrambler were so slick in comparison with other, more bulkier brands. And since I needed a new mountain bike anyway, I ended up ordering two X-Crosses for my parents and a Scrambler for myself as well, thinking that if I don’t like it, I will just return it. Well that was the theory. Then they arrived, beautiful, carefully packaged, 99% assembled, almost ready to go. Next day I took that baby for a ride. And since the first kick of the engine, I was forever addicted to ebike cycling😁. The Scrambler feels so incredibly sturdy, high quality but yet it’s very lightweight so I have no problem bringing it up and down the stairs. 5 levels PAS is amazing but what I love the most is the throttle feature - when I need to speed up fast or overtake someone (and my god I do that a lot now!😁) the bike just GOES, instantly! Battery life is amazing, I have done almost 40 miles, various terrain difficulty and the battery has just only gone one bar down. I smash hills like never before and I can enjoy longer rides without being absolutely battered the next day. And needles to say both my parents adore their X-Crosses because they can finally go together, after all these years where my mom could not keep up. I am not exaggerating when I say that this has been a life changer and worth every single penny. I could really write essays on how well the bikes are built but you really need to try for yourself. Thanks Mark2 for putting a huge smile on our faces!:)”
