“I did the mediator training course over a week in person. The content was excellent, the venue was high quality, and I appreciated the mix of trainers, all of whom had bags of experience. Highly recommended.”

“The five-day accredited mediator course was extremely thorough and well-run. Although there was a lot of instruction to get through and much to learn, it was all delivered in a way which encouraged good learning, while leaving the maximum time for practical exercises, coaching and debriefing sessions. This cemented the lessons and genuinely developed delegates' skills as mediators, while exposing them to all aspects of mediation. An excellent course, one of the very best I've attended of any type.”

“I really loved the learning on my course and found it very stimulating. Ideas for improvement: having the slides ahead of the sessions, so students could make notes directly on the dec; seeing more professional mediation in action (even if acted) as well as role play; the diversity and critical feedback of the assessors was a good thing, however, the inconsistency between methodology was unsettling for some students, who lost confidence as a result. Maybe greater reflection from the assessors on their own personal style and field would perhaps put this in context/ perpsective?”

“I chose this course as it was run at the Ciarb London office with whom the LSM have links. The trainers were very professional. They believe in mediation and this enthusiasm rubs off. It is an intense 40 hours training but enjoyable. I would highly recommend.”

“The course at the London School of Mediation was excellent. The role plays allowed me to learn on the job, providing invaluable hands-on experience. The teachers were very efficient and thorough, leaving no stone unturned in their teaching. They made sure that all questions were answered, staying until every concern was addressed. “I completed the IMI recognised mediation course (part time) and was impressed by the quality of the materials, delivery and knowledge and approach of the tutors. Further, the other attendees were also excellent. I can't recommend this course highly enough.”

“The course is comprehensive and educational. Having a lot of role plays allows participants to practice in a simulated realistic situation. Tutors were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Overall, I am glad I attended the course. I only have one suggestion. Since not all participants are UK citizens, the local accent, speed of conversations and British expressions create some challenges at times especially for participants coming from abroad like me. I sugget to speak slower and louder to help overcome this challenge.”
