“I just want to say that Lighting Room’s attention to customer service was excellent.
Initially I ordered the lamp from another supplier, but a couple of days afterwards they told me it wouldn’t be available until March. I found it on the Lighting Room site and ordered, and although again I heard it wasn’t immediately available, the company explained and said they would arrange for it to be sent directly from the supplier once it arrived in stock - thus saving time, and also demonstrating an interest in the customer. I cancelled my order with the other supplier, and was extremely surprised to have my lamp delivered in mid February, not sometime in March.
I already had a good impression of the Lighting Room, which was further enhanced by the way they dealt with the lampshade having arrived damaged. They were so quick and professional, and a pleasure to deal with.
I don’t normally write reviews as it’s time consuming, but it was such a pleasure to be surprised by great service, I wanted to let others know. I think when you order online, you don’t really have many expectations regarding service (as long as your stuff arrives), which makes it all the more noticeable when you feel that you’ve dealt with a real person, who has cared about getting things right, not an automated or impersonal process which just delivers your order.
I would definitely buy again from Lighting Room in preference to other suppliers.”
