“We've just been using the system for a couple of weeks now and it has been brilliant. My 5 year old is loving the 'belt' incentive and it keeps him wanting to do it every day to get to the next level. He doesn't see it as homework, I think he just views it as a challenge which he loves. What we like is that we're able to give him useful/educational screen time and it seems to be enough to keep him happy without overdoing it. We have the posters up in his room and he's quick to point out when he needs another sticker. We'll be telling all our friends because so far we can see his confidence growing, particularly with maths, as the way it's taught has meant he's now looking at numbers in a very different way.”

The curriculum is well structured, the belt journeys and medals offer targets that get children excited to learn and achieve their goals and the video explanations are clear and concise. Komodo has been an integral part of my son’s maths learning, complementing his school work and he was proud of achieving all the belts and medals to become a Komodo Master.”

“Komodo was exactly what we needed. A clever kid, some worries about starting reception and COVID lockdown home schooling. His assessment was bang on and the ‘gamification’ with belts etc really drove him to progress. Clear, easy to follow videos and methods that build to some really tricky questions. It’s clever. One feature that was really good was being able to add in grandparents as supporters. They got an email and could respond. That even brought on his reading… Support when required, easy to pause subscription and come back when it was needed again. I’ll definitely use this for the second child.”

“Komodo is an exceptional mathematics learning platform. I signed up for it to support my son in year 6 as he had lost confidence in the subject. It is set up well with lots of potential for feedback and praise and also, points make prizes, so he had something to work towards. It starts off with more basic maths and then builds up as they go through each topic. Excellent, would definitely recommend”

“I have been very impressed with Komodo! My son is 10 years old and has been to 4 schools in different countries so he had a lot of gaps in his basic maths. Since starting Komodo four months ago he now knows his times tables fluently and his teacher recently said he is able to move up a maths class at school! He is now much more confident with his maths and this can only be contributed to him spending 10 minutes maximum most days doing Komodo at home!”

“Best Maths app out there! Beautifully designed, and the reward system is fantastic! My child has got so much better since we have been using it daily through the last few months of lockdown. Every new lesson is accompanied by a clear short video explainer. Highly recommended it and worth taking out the subscription. Makes difficult maths concepts easy to grasp for children with a clean clear approach.”

“Komodo is a great program for math comprehension and learning. It has helped my child tremendously. The subscription fee is very reasonable. And I like the format. We had previously used the Elephant Learning program which was three x’s the cost , not as effective, & had no instructions for the lessons , which caused frustration and distress. My child spends @ 10 mins. A day and loves working toward the goals of a new belt. I would definitely Recommend Komodo!!!”

“We first signed up for Komodo when my daughter was struggling with adding up. It made such a huge difference to her we signed her twins brothers up as soon as they were ready. And we have stayed with it until they hit the coveted Gold badge. Well thought out exercises, helpful videos and the rewards systems definitely useful for motivating. Thank you for getting them to enjoy maths (and get a decent grounding at the same time)!”

“This has been incredible during lockdown! I appreciate how Komodo is tailored to each of my kids but allows them to earn shortcuts to new levels if they prove proficient. The different ways of motivating engage each child perfectly and I love that some features that might be anxiety inducing (like the timer) can be switched off. Thank you so much for keeping my kids brains switched on to maths during this time of home education that I was utterly unprepared for.”
