About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“Excellent customer service - we weren’t sure what type / size bike would work best for our 5 year old who isn’t bike confident but most balance bikes were too small for her but needed something that wouldn’t be redundant within a few weeks / months. Karen provided very quick and excellent guidance and we settled on the Rookie 14 which arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. Bike is lovely looking and well made and feels like it will last the test of time. A great experience, thank you Kidvelo”

“I bought the Rookie 18 for my 5-year-old. It arrived quickly, and was easy to set up. My son was really lacking in confidence on his previous bike but being able to convert a larger balance bike into a pedal bike really got him used to the bike, so as soon as we put the pedals on (again, a very straight forward process) he was pedalling away very quickly. I will invest in a smaller bike for my younger son too based on our experience. Customer service was excellent too.”
