About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“The buying expenience and after sales customer service is second to none. We had a minor issue which was rectified on an August bank holiday. I can't imagine many other bike suppliers/ manufacturers responding so quickly on a bank holiday!”

“Fantastic, seriously impressive build quality on the bike. I was blown away with the qaulity of the welds on the frame. My lad is obsessed with it, bought for a 2nd bday prezzy and he was well chuffed. Woke up the next day and the first thing he said was green bike!”

“We purchased two bikes for our sons in green (the Rookie 14 and 18). Our youngest (3) had outgrown his 12 inch balance bike but isnt quite ready for pedals and our eldest (6) has been struggling on a bike with stabilisers for over a year. It was hard seeing his younger brother run laps around him at the park and as we are avid mountainbikers ourselves, we wanted them to have confidence on and enjoy biking. The bikes are a little pricier than what you'd get on the high street but when they arrived (within a day or so of ordering), we were pleasantly surprised by the bikes quality and handling. Within a few sessions, both the boys are putting their feet up on the footrest and most importantly they're enjoying and actively asking to go out on their bikes together. Best of all, we won't have to buy another bike when they are ready for pedals. The bikes are really lightweight to load onto the bike carriers - much lighter than their old bikes. They've been a sound investment and we are so happy we came across kidvelo, we have 3 children so we'll be able to keep these bikes in the family to pass down through the children.”
