“Communication and delivery time very good. Anchor looks well made and painted. I fitted it to garage floor and then realised it was in the way of the turntable I use to turn bike around in garage. Obviously I couldn't undo fasteners because I had hammered ball bearings into socket. I proceeded to drill a 4mm hole in the top of each screw and use a small chisel to undo all four bolts. Took me ten minutes! OK, for me this was a good thing but not secure in any way. I bought four high tensile socket countersunk screws from local engineers merchant. I know from many years experience that you cannot drill these. I then removed the ball bearings from original screws by cutting down the side of them with a hacksaw and refitted to new screws. It's only as strong as its weakest link. The screws.”

“Bought a JDC ultimate rain XL for my bmw c400x. I already had a JDC cover so knew what to expect. This new one is even sturdier than my last one, which lasted 2years in Scottish weather before the fabric started to tear. This one will hopefully last a bit longer but too early to say just yet. The cover itself has a strong elasticated bottom and a soft lining and the seams are all taped. It has a clasp underneath too for those windier days and my experience has been that it does keep the bike dry. Chose this over an Oxford cover as a lad down the street has one and it doesn’t look nearly as sturdily made.”
