“A useful course that provided a good overview of strategic finance matters for a range of different types of business. It was pitched at providing anybody with a limited or no financial background with enough of an understanding of financial aspects in preparation for entering the business world and be able to talk finance. It was delivered entirely online by a single instructor over three days. It seemed to be the right amount of time in relation to the breadth and depth of the financial aspects covered. There was opportunity to ask questions during the lessons but limited opportunity to have those one to one moments with the instructor, which you would have in a face-to-face course. In sum I rate the course a very positive 4 out of 5 stars for a course that delivers what it states it will do.”

“I have today finished the Strategic Finance for Non-Financial Managers course and it was excellent. Despite the challenges of teaching over MS Teams and the somewhat stilted nature of joint participation our instructor, Wendy, did a great on of keeping people engaged and interested. The course covers a wide range of topics, all in good detail. Wendy was able to clearly explain complicated issues and also had a depth of knowledge and experience to address challenging technical aspects too. A great three days, thank you.”

“I had a great experience with Ipso Facto, from the perspective of both organising a cohort to attend the APM PMQ course and attending as a delegate myself. Ipso sent the prereading materials well in advance enabling us to fully prepare ahead of time, and were great at troubleshooting queries / changing delegates last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. I attended the APM PMQ run by Julia, who brought the theory to life with lots of real life examples. The pace of the course was good with enough breaks to keep focus, and Julia’s quick feedback on exam style questions left me feeling reallt prepared to take the examination. I really enjoyed the course and would definitely recommend it.”

Having taken Excel courses many years before, this was a great refresher on aspects that I haven't used in anger for sometime. There was also plenty of really useful new content that will without doubt lead to efficiencies. A virtual course, very well run, by an expert who clearly understands the needs and learning styles of his students.”

“I attended the five day Developing & Managing a Business with an Online Presence in Dec 20. I found the course content insightful and pitched at the right level to enable me to reflect on my journey on exiting the services. I came away with an awareness of what are the key elements to ensure I address both online and with regards to administration, finance, marketing and taxation. A very in-depth and SME session with the online piece, I have definitely taken away a number of nuggets that will benefit me in my own online business. Since finishing the course I have followed the advice and set up my own online presence and have a plan of action as to the next steps. For anyone who wishes to run a business online, the course will highlight areas within your business or plan that you may believe are watertight on day one yet you realise they are leaking by day five, yet the course enables you to carry out repairs to make your ship seaworthy.”
