“Just completed the 'Start your own Online Business' course. I've got to say, it's the highest concentration of practical knowledge I've ever received. I was in danger of being in an information overload, but it was delivered in a structured, relaxed and light-hearted manner that I managed to get by without being overwhelmed. However, the work's only just started, now I've got to sit down and decipher all my notes and resources and put it to practical use. Tim and Brian are truly experts in their fields and their passion for what they do shines through. Was a pleasure! Luke”

“Starting an Online Business: This was a fantastic course with plenty of valuable content. The main thing that stood out was the volume of practical learning that was given to us rather than simply giving theoretical frameworks. “The Start Your Own Online Business course with IpsoFacto is one of the best courses I’ve ever taken. The wealth of information from firming up your business idea, identifying your market, competitors and price points. Setting up your own optimised and ‘google search’ friendly website, marketing, accounting… the list goes on. The knowledge and experience shared honestly by Tim Whitaker was so refreshing. His highly interactive approach really helps the information sink in. Brian has an extensive, almost guru like presence about him, which is backed up with his innate ability to immediately answer almost any question we threw at him about setting up our first website. His knowledge of SEO was immense, a huge thanks to the ‘GoogleMaster’. Rather than making setting up on my own seem daunting, Tim’s passion for business, selling and building relationships and Brian’s passion and knowledge of every aspect of building, hosting and optimising your website is infectious. “I attended Ipso Factos' Start Your Own Online Business course 24-28 Apr 23, with the first 3 days in person in Portsmouth and the final 2 days online. This is a really comprehensive course that covers business planning, financial considerations, selling, marketing and setting up and managing a website. There is a LOT of information provided over the 5 days, but instructors Tim and Brian managed to successfully focus on the essential core elements, leaving me at the end of the course with a solid idea of how to get my planned business up and running in the coming months. Recommended for anyone who has a realistic business idea - whether innovative or fairly standard - and wants to use the web as the primary platform for sales and marketing. You will come away with a ton of information, but the confidence to work through it in slower time to guide you toward your business goals.”

“The Start Your Own Online Business course was even more than I ever imagined it to be. Tim was a great instructor whose knowledge knew no end and translated across very easily. He was excellently supported by Brian with the Web side of things who could not pass over enough information. “Would highly recommend this learning provider. I have recently attended an AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner course which included taking both exams in 4 days. Despite the high level of content required to complete both courses in such a short time, the Ipso Facto team were supportive and broke down the different elements of the course well. “Agile Foundation & Practitioner This is the second course I have completed with Ipso Facto and am currently looking at options for a third, Change Management. From the initial enquiry about attending the course, all members at Ipso Facto are courteous and helpful and offered all the help and guidance I needed. Julia the course tutor has a wealth of experience across P3M and has a laid-back but professional approach, and she was always willing to give up her own time if I or any of the other students needed extra clarification on the subject matter. I have attended other courses with different providers, however as opposed to someone just teaching the course syllabus, Julia would draw on her experience and give context to much of the content so it was much easier to envisage the procedures in the real world environment. Julia could also offer a strong opinion on all alternate P3M systems in use currently. I will be studying with Ipso Facto again, both this year and next.”

“I attended the starting an online business course with IPSO FACTO. The first instructor Tim was fantastic, clearly with explanations, very knowledgeable and easy to listen to and understand. I would highly endorsed Tim as a excellent instructor. The second part of the course was instructored by Brian who was also as highly competent and knowledgeable about the subject. Overall I would highly recommend this course and IPSO FACTO to anyone looking at setting up self-employed using websites or other online tools. “Very useful tips & examples for someone like me with little background knowledge. The specialists who spoke to us (accountant & website expert) were helpful in breaking down the type of business you can set up & how to track your expenses & profit.
