I did not receive my item. The tracking said I received it but I did not. And i'm still waiting for a refund to replacement. It's been over 2 weeks

Took forever to get a refund, charged almost £6 delivery for return then deducted money even though the protect was returned in perfect order! Would never use again!

Dear Adele, thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear you are disappointed. We have looked into your return and we can see that your return was received back on the 7th November and your refund was processed on the 12th. Our returns terms do allow up to 14 days for refunds to be processed however we do try to process these much faster , in your case we refunded within 5 days. Regarding your actual refund we can see you requested a return via a prepaid Royal Mail label at a cost of £5.95, this was deducted from your refund. In addition your original order just met the £50 threshold for free shipping however taking into account the return of 2 items from your order this meant that the free shipping threshold was no longer met hence the deduction for the original shipping charge. We apologise if this was a surprise to you, we do detail this in our returns terms but we appreciate you may not have spotted this. Kind regards Customer Team

Ordered a kitchen roll holder (£67). Paid for the next day delivery via DPD. Stayed in for the whole day (i live in an apartment block with video entry). Received a text from DPD telling me I wasn't at home and they left it at some godforsaken convenience store nowhere near where I live thus requiring a bus or taxi ride to collect it. Having not collected it as I had paid additionally for the next day delivery) it has been returned and I am still awaiting my money back, I did email home colour but got no response I am sure the products are very nice but DPD are an appalling carrier as I have experienced this 'I wasn't at home' sting before, easier for them to dump parcels in a shop and expect customers to collect them, they even boast that they are saving the planet by reducing emissions - I don't live on Coronation Street so had I got a taxi it would have added to emissions and cost me twice as much again as the £7 I paid DPD to deliver (NOT) it.

Order still hasn't arrived despite being ordered over two weeks ago. No contact until I emailed. Apparently the order has gone missing, but if this is the case, surely it is up to Home Colours to send out a replacement to fulfil the order rather than make excuses and blame the Royal Mail Pretty poor really

We would like to apologise for the issues that you experienced with your delivery, whilst our couriers are usually very reliable delays & issues do sometimes occur at this time of year due to the increased volumes that they are dealing with. In these instances we do have to allow sufficient time for a thorough investigation to be carried out before a replacement order or refund can be actioned. My item was lost and ive been trying to sort this out for a week now with no resolution. I have been told i need to simply re-buy the item at my cost. I have never had so much back and forth when an item has been lost or delivered incorrectly - the customer service has not been great which is disappointing.

We are currently working with Royal Mail as regards your parcel whereabouts, unfortunately since the wrong delivery postcode was included when you placed your order this is what has caused confusion. Unfortunately it isn't possible for us to vet that postcodes submitted with orders are correct for the street address. We will continue to work with Royal Mail to resolve this for you.
