“Love Hampton Manor. Have visited on a number of occasions over the years. During lock down the picnic lunch in the grounds was a breathe of fresh air.
So it makes me sad to have to say that on the one time we splashed out to stay for a few nights for a special birthday celebration things didn't go quite to plan... The food was excellent and service friendly and attentive.
However, maintenance, housekeeping and general attention to detail were sadly lacking. One of hottest days of the year and the air conditioning was not working, the bedroom should have been a twin but was a double, cobwebs adorned the main staircase at hand height and the bread making session we had booked was cancelled due to a lack of water! Whilst any single one of these issues on its own would have been forgotten long ago, they multiplied and left a sour note.”

“We went to Hampton Manor at the beginning of the year for a couple of nights. We got cocktails on arrival, dinner at the smoke House which was beautiful and very filling taster menu, then the next night to the mitchelin star restaurant on site for 15 course taster menu. There was wine tasting and whiskey tasting, with some lovely country walks (even if a bit boggy they gave us wellies). The staff were amazing and so helpful. Nothing was a problem. Would and have recommend. Such a lovely stay.”
