“First time buyer at Friars, I purchased the praline truffle eggs in the tiny egg box. Excellent service and packaged very well and the truffle eggs were delightful. A perfect little treat for someone special! I bought 5 boxes and unfortunitely when I tried to reorder I found out it's just an easter item. Roll on next easter : ) I'll be stocking up! In the meantime I'll brouse their other delights.”

“I bought 2 wonderful tins of Easter chocolate, eggs, chicks and bunny for grandchildren that don't live near me, which were delivered straight there. Needless to say, they were welcomed and enjoyed immediatley. Thank you Friars for something different.”

“The chocolates were for my mums 92nd birthday. Being diabetic I was trying to find chocolates that were low in sugar. The chocolates arrived on time and the box looked good. I was a bit disappointed when my mum opened the box. The chocolates were a bit shaken up. The reason is that despite there being a number of different shaped chocolates, the plastic tray shapes were all the same with no attempt at matching the shape of the chocolates. The result being that the contents weren’t held in place and just sat roughly in the area provided. I also felt that the chocolates were very ordinary considering they are very expensive in my opinion…roughly £1.08 per chocolate plus delivery. I don’t think I will be buying again.”

With regard to the price of the chocolates, we do state the weight and dimensions of the product on the listing to give customers an idea of the size but again we are sorry you found them to be expensive. “I've had these chocolates before and enjoyed them. I treated myself to them for Easter. And I was very very disappointed. The taste was just OFF the nuts tasted stale... And this sugar dusting over the top was unpleasant.”

“I have purchased these excellent rum truffles as my stepfather's birthday present. The quality, the taste intensity are unforgettable. I could gladly finish one big box in one sitting! Also the boxes are of good quality and I like the modest design. I like the gift ideas and flavours as well. I will definitely buy again as soon as I have the opportunity. Thank you!”

“Sadly had to order on line as Easted Egg not available in store and had to pay additional cost for postage. It was a gift would have been happy if option could have collected in store. Luckily delivery was OK no broken egg and have a good postman”
