“Really excellent chocolates. Definitely a cut above the competition. Lovely flavours and a nice size too. Chocolates that are too small are very disappointing. Shame the free delivery threshold isn’t lower and some pricing seems designed to prevent easily hitting the free delivery threshold. Will buy again for special occasions.”

“Unfortunately Mother’s Day chocolates were not delivered to my mother but to someone else who did not pass them on ! Royal Mail delivered to a completely different address sadly not friars fault but disappointing.”

“Good company and British! Chocolate is nice but some fillings could be better. Lemon is not lemony enough. Fruit flavours are not fruity enough. These are still better than anything that awful Nestle put out. Better than Hotel chocolate but I do find them a bit too sweet and bland. Maybe all chocolates are bland now but I want zingy lemon, tart raspberry and strawberry that seems real. It's difficult and hardly anyone can make them them these days , but it's disappointing when a British chocolate house is starting to taste like nestle. They are only popular because they are cheap! At about £1 per chocolate I expect better and need my taste buds tickled more.”

“It really is the first place to get chocolates as presents. The delivery service is always great. You could every now and then send a *free* sample of new items, just to say a huge *thank you* for people giving you their orders, doesn't do you any harm to say *thank you*. I've never really tried a lot of your chocolates because at 70 years old when I buy chocolates as a gift I just just can't afford to buy a little treat for me.”
