“Stuart is the consummate artisan-merchant. I ordered the A5 6-ring binder with a matching 3-pen holder. He worked with me through the whole process. And, since I just found him on-line, I was naturally a little apprehensive. The Binder was perfect to the last detail. The 3-pen holder’s workmanship was also exquisite. But for some reason, the measurements were off. My pens did not fit. It was probably my fault, and I was prepared to let that go. But Stuart would not have it. He said that if it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t good enough. He said he would send me a replacement, free of charge!!! He didn’t even ask for the “imperfect” one back (I got to keep it). He sent me the replacement and, to my shock …. It was stolen at the mailbox!! I was again, ready to let that go. Then, Stuart followed up about how I found the replacement. I told him that it was stolen. To my pleasant shock, he offered to send yet a 2nd replacement!!!
I’m a 64-year-old lawyer. I like to invest in things my heirs will fight over when I pass. I have watches and fountain pens that are worthy of being kept in quality leather containers.
