“We have mixed feelings towards Comodo Living, we took a gamble buying from this company rather than a more established brand. The communication cannot be faulted as all replies were very quick and if there were any issues with our order we were informed straight away of our options. We originally wanted a gas lift ottoman but due to our alteration requirements this wasn’t possible so we were refunded the difference immediately. However, I would not say the end product or service is “luxury” as the website claims. On delivery only one man arrived and due to the size of the headboard, he couldn’t get it up the stairs alone and I (young female) had to assist carrying it up the stairs (which was a struggle and not what’s expected from a luxury company!). Luckily I managed, but if I’d have been pregnant or elderly and was unable to assist then I don’t know what would have happened but it would likely cause delays and unnecessary stress. The fabric of the bed is identical to samples order and upholstered to a good standard however the other finishes on the bed were not. The slats had uneven spacing, they were roughly sawn and shedding splints rather than a sanded finish and the corner of the bed is misaligned. Overall it could have been worse but could have been better. For the price and the fact it’s advertised as luxury, we wouldn't order again.”
“So far I have only ordered fabric samples, however I’m finding it very difficult to find a fabric because the colours on the website are nothing like the actual fabrics. Also the colour selections for linen fabrics are very limited, all very neutral and similar. So I’m not sure if I will order a bed or not.”
