“Mike Maguire and Lee Sharpe was booked for an Evening on Friday October 12th at Rochdale Cricket Club, they were absolutely brilliant, Mike with his comedy and impressions and Lee told us some great stories from his playing days plus a few gags, I would highly recommend both these hmguys to anyone considering holding an event in the future.”

“Billy Wheadon was OK. The microphone failed which did not help but there were only 50 in the room so he was able to be heard. His jokes were a bit outdated and many had been heard before. A few who were there said he was boring. We will not ask for him again”

“Billy Wheadon was supporting Phil Larder, needed more input from him to make it more comical, I am sure in his own right he is a good comic, but it was'nt allowed to show through as it was basic Q&A. - Good Phil Larder Well respected man in his field, seen and done many things, colosal achievement, the facts speak for themselves, all very interesting but not funny enough, more interaction with comedian is required to get 100% of audience satisfied. - Acceptable Mike Maguire Brilliant, had the room rocking time and again, impersonations great, interaction with audience second to non, made us laugh without a lot of bad language, would recommend him to anybody, anytime. - Very Good”

“We have used After Dinner Speakers and Comedians for 10 years now for our annual Sportsmans Dinner and have to say it has been a pleasure without ever having a problem. This year we booked Phil Thompson and Martin Gold and both were excellent and friendly. If you are looking to book a speaker for your event don't look further than these Guys. “Billy was fine. Was self-deprecating at the start which went down well. Mixed audience and he tailored the evening perfectly. Did great with the auction which raised £1000 and encouraged raffle sales, together with our two lady sellers, and that raised £800. The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice in Huddersfield is the primary beneficiary. All in all a successful evening. Thank you”

“Mr Dennis Taylor was sociable and mingled with the crowd before and after dinner. He was very obliging with selfies. It was plain to see he was well-liked by all. One of our guests had a cue stick to be autographed by Dennis. It was great evening and was made that much more enjoyable by Dennis. We would recommend him to any corporate event.”

“Marc kindly helped me book Lea Roberts for our Football Club 45th Anniversary and my own 40th Birthday party. It was quite short notice too and so I was really pleased when we got Lea to commit. His stand up was exactly what we were looking for. Pitched at the right level - not too crude but also teased some of the crowd (including myself) and he got a fantastic response from the 75 people who attended. Lea really seemed to enjoy it too and exceeded the time he had agreed to do. After Lea had left, many of the members were asking who he was and whether we could get him again. A unique and thoroughly entertaining evening and we will definitely be in touch in the future about another night. Thanks so much. Alex”

“We used Mary and her team to source a comedian for our golf day. We had Mick Martin who was very good. He was on top form, took on the advice about the crowd we gave him and everybody thoroughly enjoyed him. Definitely use these guys again”

“Peter McGovern was a very entertaining dinner speaker for our Annual Corporate Golf Day. We have held this event for many, many years and I had never seen so many people laugh before!
