“Lea was a great guy to have around at the start of the night talking to all the guests. His act was really good and he managed the auction really well getting as much money for our charity as possible !!”

“Easy to organise the booking; Great communication in advance from both the organisation and the speaker (Lembit Opik); Great efforts made during the evening by the speaker (Lembit) to mingle with guests; Very friendly speaker and made the speech personal to the audience; Good speech and content - length was about right. “First class professional service from start to finish, we have used After Dinner World for a number of years and have never been let down. This year despite the horrendous weather conditions on the day of the event which forced our scheduled comic to be unable to attend, Mark was able to organise a stand in replacement Comedian in Martin Gold who had the audience in stitches and was brilliant alongside the terrific Dean Saunders.... a great night had by all !!!!”

“We recently booked Lea Roberts to be our main speaker for our annual Round Table Charter Dinner, from the moment Lea arrived he was very polite and friendly and made an effort to speak to the guests. He showed real interest in everyone and fitted in nicely. His routine was superb, well judged for the event and connected well with the audience. He had everyone laughing throughout and received good praise from everyone afterwards. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who has an event coming up. “We had Martin Gold for our annual dinner(Rochdale Hornets Ex-players association on the 23rd Feb 2018, a few of us had already seen Martin at the York XPA dinner where he bought the house down and off the back of this we booked him for our dinner and if anything he was even better, I have had several e-mails from guests at the dinner where one states "the comedian was exceptional and we will be booking him in the next few months".”

“Pete Emmett conquered Fylde Rugby Club within the first 30 seconds and kept the laughs going constantly for as long as he was on his feet. “We held our first comedy night this Saturday and Jed Stone was one of the comedians. He was excellent and extremely funny but above all a gentleman and a true professional I cannot recommend Jed enough. We had a mixed crowd of all ages and he got it spot on. “Hi I booked Lee Sharpe for a dinner for the 10th February, I/We thought Lee was an excellent speaker and we really enjoyed him I/We also found Lee to be very friendly and could not do enough for everyone he signed many autographs and had photos taken many times. Lea is also very easy to work with and totally reliable. I have booked Lea on multiple occasions and never been disappointed.”

“Booking process couldn't have been easier - when person I first spoke to wasn't available someone else came back to me very quickly. Barry York arrived on time, was very personable, good company over dinner and gave a good performance, judging his audience very well. It was good to have a comic who didn't feel the need to swear and who was "adult" without being crude. Feedback from those attending the dinner was very positive.”

“Jamie was invited to Woodhead for the second time as our comedian following our pre match luncheon due to popular demand . He again gave a fine performance to a mixed audience of over 140 and had everybody thoroughly engaged with his observations and superb banter .”
