“A five star experience all the way. I ordered a Hikvision M2 series NVR, (which was a good price), and it was delivered super-quick. The only problem I've got is that for some reason the image settings of the first seven of my 14 externally switch-networked Hikvision cameras, (I don't use the POE ports atm), are not being recognised by the latest 416 firmware in the ds-7616ni-m2 NVR for some reason which is very strange but apart from that everything else seems to work OK - I just have to set the image/video settings of the first seven cameras via browser access to the cameras as I can't do it via the NVR. I can't see any obvious settings differences to explain it and there are no other problems - it's certainly much faster than the I series one it replaced. Any ideas gratefully accepted...”

it is possible this is just a firmware bug that will be fixed in a future update (i have reported the issue to Hikvision), but please do contact us so we can take a look at the issue. In the meantime you are, as you said, able to change the image settings in the camera itself which should perform the same functions.

“my order arrived faster than expected even with postal strikes ( the next day ) . i have had a few issues with setting up the new system, but i`m in contact with cctv empires jon and he is guiding me through these . this ip system was an upgrade from a hikvision analog one so i`m pretty used to the settings ect . its just the little niggles with one camera that seems the issue but i`m hoping it can be solved with there help. overall a wonderful company , that seems to value its customers ..a rare trait these days it seems. time will tell . over all i`m happy so far .”

“I'd been looking online for a new CCTV system for quite some time, even adding a kit to my basket with another comany, thought Id do one last search online, and discovered CCTV Empire, after reading many reviews about there online chat, I thought I'd ask a few questions, their knowledge and speedy replies and the price was the best id seen, this was the decider for me, so I placed my order, it was delivered 24 hrs later to Northern Ireland, Fantastic Company and Service, I'm about to place an order for a few more items. Don't hesitate to use this company, I don't usually write reviews, but then I don't usually get this level of service”

“Excellent service as usual. I could have bought the same items cheaper elsewhere, but I trust and respect CCTV Empire after previous purchases. They even notified me that the base I had ordered didn't match the camera, I knew this as the base was for another job,but still nice of them to point it out. Starting with a very good, well stocked extensive range to an easy to use website with very competitive pricing but best of all was the after sales customer service. *sometimes the phone was busy, however when you get through the technical staff are friendly, polite patient and professional. Great knowledge of the equipment and a variety of problems encountered. Only too willing to help. Great company, with Great Staff. 👍 thanks again guys. “Good website, very clear with all the back up information. Rang to let me know when the items would be delivered as one item not in stock in the colour I needed. Contacted CCTV Empire for help setting up one of the cameras after installation. Very helpful, and knowledgeable, and set up my new cameras by remote access. First-class support for a small purchase.”
