“Tried to place an order online, unfortunately no click and collect option was available. Apparently C&A cannot accept credit card orders for collection. With a delivery charge of £20 on a £38 order, I decided to vist the London depot. The trade counter was unattended when I arrived, with no means to call for assistance, despite staff visible in an inner office. Eventually a sales person came out and the order placed. Staff appeared knowledgeable about the product, but I was left with the feeling they were doing you a favour. Purchased replacement fascia, soffit boards, and fixings for a porch. Product appears good quality and while only completed the job recently, so no knowledge of durability, would use again.”

“Really impressed! Carefully delivered with no damage. Drill bits, rivets and rivet gun supplied. Took us two good half days to complete but this was our first time and we were cutting it to fit in a defined space. Comprehensive instruction book and video on line. Finished article looks really good, to be honest much better than we'd expected. We're already considering adding a second!”

“If the wall plates for my car port were not out of stock for such a long time this would have been a 5 star review. Having said that the communication between them and me was good. When I phoned every one was very courteous and the answers to my questions were spot on. They even allowed me to add some parts to the order. The delivery driver was also very kind and considerate. He could not have been more helpful. I will use them again.”

“Easy to use website. Full information given regarding each item. contacted by firm to clarify my order. Emails received giving information on progress of my order. Email sent to say order was out for delivery and could take up to 5 days. I phoned Monday to ask for an indication of when this might be and was told that I would receive a phone call the day before. However they were actually delivered that same day. I was happy with the quality of the goods and they were easy to work with.”

“EXCELLENT WARP Speed service. Very helpful for the DIY person who is not familiar with all the names of items and what they are for. The quantities were correct for the dimensions given. They worked it all out for you, so recheck your own dimensions and personal details. Order arrived days before expected, so be ready to go and just in time for May bank holiday, getting me out of a trip to the seaside but getting a great job done and an early free suntan at the same time. Make sure you have the right tools and time for the job. Set all the parts out like a jigsaw and understand what they do and where they go and if you are mixing old with new be prepared to compromise and use the MK 1 eyeball. “Erecting the carport myself saved a huge amount of money. Construction was straightforward for a competent handyman like me. The kit of parts was very complete with drill bits, nuts & bolts, screws, silicone sealant, touch-up paint, rivets and even a rivet gun. Quality of finish is excellent. I needed to make the cover high enough to fly over my shed so I used some concrete blocks set in concrete to lift the legs by about a foot and fixed the wall plate at a suitable height, (see pictures). I am very pleased with the final result. My only small negatives were: 1) Attaching the end plate to the gutter. I found that the stainless self tapping screws were too tight in the alluminium moulding so kept snapping off, (stainless is not as strong as the normal high carbon used for self tappers). Luckily I was able to use a Mole wrench to unscrew the broken threads. I ended up drilling the holes to a slightly larger size, (8.5mm i think) 2) I struggled to feed the rubber lip into the wall plate groove until my wife realised that only one edge of the rubber goes into the slot. After that it was easy-peasy!”
