“Terrible company. I paid £1000 just to reserve a property for a few days. I was constantly emailed and pressured to let them know if I was proceeding. At no point did they state that the £1000 reservation fee permits me to 'hold' the property for 14 weeks, which they only mentioned after I logged an official complaint and even then, I was only told this information at the very last moment before taking the matter to the Property Ombudsman. My advice to anyone reading this is that they should use another company for their property needs. I do not believe the other reviews on here are genuine and I would encourage anyone reading this to check out this company on TrustPilot which shows may negative reviews of their questionable tactics and procedures. The lady I was dealing with was Julia, however, none of the staff surnames appear on the website which shows how shoddy this operation is. I have never heard of an estate agent charging an extortionate fee of £1000 to hold a property for a few days once you have made an offer. Ludicrous!!!!”
