Plants are our passion and we offer one of the finest selections in the UK, including our speciality plants: hellebores, hepaticas, cyclamen, Primula auricula, salvias, hydrangeas, conifers and snowdrops. I was delighted with how healthy the plant was and it is already putting on new growth. “I ordered a mixed selection of 4 Ashwood garden hybrids to fill a few gaps in our hellebore bed. They were very well packed, healthy plants in 3ltr pots, still in flower so I was able to see exactly what had been selected for us. Each hellebore was different. The flowers were all doubles - one white, the other 3 various shades of pink, & all absolutely gorgeous. I am so pleased with them (so much so that I have almost decided to get some more!) 1 happy customer :)”

“I’ve visited the nursery twice recently and have been on the combined garden and hellebore tour. It was a great experience and all staff were super helpful and knowledgeable. A big thank you to Kevin, John, Sarah, Nigel, Mike, Steve and Scarl for answering all of my questions and for the excellent service. I bought quite a few wonderful hellebores, galanthus, ferns and hepaticas. Will be definitely back again for more plants. The breakfast at the caffe was delicious and the coffee always hot. Could not fault anything, wish there were more nurseries like these in England.”

“Used the “advise when available” service. Ordered as soon as I was notified. I asked for a week’s delay which was done. Plant received in excellent condition by courier. Only concern, which was nothing to do with Ashwoods, was that couriers delayed delivery by 2 days because of staff shortage.”

“We found Ashwood Nurseries website after deciding we'd like to plant dwarf conifers in a new border in the front garden of our home. We had no idea of how many we needed, or what we should buy but found Ashwood Nurseries after an internet search. They looked experts for dwarf conifers so made an enquiry. We're so glad that we did. They asked for my number so Robert could call me back to discuss our needs. I was really busy but Robert persisted in calling me a number of times over a couple of days leaving messages each time. I was appreciative of his persistence. I got time to call him back the next day and it was great to speak with him. He gave us advice on our soil, type of mulch, whether to use any weed suppression matting etc. He said he'd prepare a list of 20 dwarf conifers (a selection of as many different types as he could) so we could take a look before placing an order. Sure enough, an email arrived, we looked at what he'd suggested and placed an order for the 20. They arrived within a day of our order and were excellently packed. Unfortunately one was missing from the delivery but the girls in the mail order department arranged for the missing one to be dispatched immediately without question. We are delighted with the attention and dwarf conifers that we received from Ashwood Nurseries. Robert and the girls in the mail order department are a credit to the business. We would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone. Many thanks Robert, girls, and Ashwood Nurseries!”
