“Very happy with the supply and installation. The door opening was adjusted me meet my requirement. I have only no complaint which doesn't reflect on supplier or installation. The door remote control buttons are flush with the remote body, if put in a pocket they will be operated. I got caught twice, once left the garage door open all night with out realizing it. Now never put in my pocket and no problem. Many thanks, Phill.”

“I am very satisfied with the service I received from the sales staff. All queries I had before ordering were answered promptly. Although delivery took a lot longer than I expected due to the volume of other orders, when it arrived the delivery driver was very helpful and we carried it about 25 mtrs to the garage. The door complete with frame was well packaged and proved relatively easy to fit with 2 people. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the service I received.”

“I received excellent, informative and patient advice from Rob and Mark, for a bespoke requirement where the garage openings were non-standard. The Carteck doors were finally installed last week (7Sept2018) in conjunction with adaption work to floors and surrounding structures, completed by pebble dash render to match the existing appearance. Arridge were again very helpful during the install, when clarification of the Carteck instructions were not as clear as they could be.”

“Its not often that most of us buy a garage door and so having really good advice and a range of options from the outset is crucial. The staff at Arridge were excellent at asking some good questions and helping to tease out our preferences for the doors we needed. They were very efficient at giving us examples and clear quotes, and helped source a good reliable local fitter to ensure they were installed effectively. When a minor component problem cropped up they and the fitters sorted it asap. We would recommend them to others.”

I had three doors, one larger than the others, and he was able to point me at the best manufacturer to ensure that the panels all lined up when the doors were closed. This was not something that I would have thought about but could have really spoiled the look of the doors had I got it wrong. “Website – useful and informative Quotation in response to my initial enquiry – good recommendation to meet requirements; however, labour and installation costs were misleading – the costs of VAT and of installing a power outlet were not included at the outset. Subsequent photos of the inside of the garage (sent on 8 November) should have rung alarm bells about the proximity of electrical equipment and prompted a request to the fitter to pay special attention to this during the survey. Survey – confirmed the size of door but failed to identify the unsuitability of a sectional door because of the greatly reduced access to the electrical consumer unit which would result. In view of this the cost of the survey is difficult to justify. Delivery – on time but the driver wasn’t able to negotiate the turn in the driveway because of the size of his van; he had no hand truck which meant he and I were faced with carrying a very heavy door 25 yards to the garage. Fortunately, I had a hand truck available. Installation – on time and quickly finished to a very good standard inside and out. No mention was made before leaving of the greatly reduced access to the electrical consumer unit. Clive Tong 07710 683501”

“Very solid door for the price. fitted well, friendly and efficient service, I have fitted plastic tubes over cable end to minimise fraying (catching on clothes etc.) Also fitted catch to wicket door to stop blowing about in the wind, but would not use it during strong winds as it could damage door frame. All in all money well spent”

Very easy online form to enquire and get estimated price which is very good when initially shopping around for best deal, which turned out to be Arridge Garage Doors. I then called to finalise price, specification, delivery and install. Very solid advice from sales technical staff on the manufacturers available to me which helped greatly in my final choice to balance cost against quality and design. Best price by far that I could find for the Hormann doors I wanted and eventually chose, exact spec and colour I wanted. Delivered on the week that I was originally quoted by very friendly and helpful delivery driver, installed by meticulous tradesman installer on the same week. Very satisfied customer, don't waste time looking for a better deal, its Arridge believe me.”
