“It occasionally doesn't register shots or accurately track them. This seems to have more to do with the accuracy of a phone's GPS and network connectivity though. When it all works as intended, it's great. Other than tracking, the only complaint I have about it is that there is some time that needs to be taken after every shot, or every hole, to ensure that proper number of strokes were counted on the app.”

“Great product and I like the synchronisation with watch ( Galaxy 4 ) To make it 5 stars there are a couple of Android improvements 1. On the watch : A. change the white on green colouring to yellow on black. Much easier for those of us with poor eyesight B. Add the rolling current distance under the shot detected, rather than adding once the next shot has been played 2. Add a distance to hazards measurement on the phone - like most other apps. It's great to have a recommended club based on distance but it would be even better to see where that actually would be on the course”

“Great product. I love the stats, easy to work on areas of your game. Sometimes it misses holes or shots but they're easy enough to input. Issue with my putter sensor but they're sending out a new one. Even when using the link it drains my phone battery by about 65-70% (I have a new phone so shouldn't be an issue with the phone.) The virtual caddy isn't great, it basically gives you 2 options neither are how I would ever play the hole. In my opinion you should be able to select a club for the tee shot and from that point Arccos does the rest and then give you the possible next shot/shots. Definitely worth the money.”

“Very easy to get the system going and the data and analytical insight is very cool. The one thing I will say that is frustrating is that the battery on the clip on component lasts only two rounds, and editing shots while you’re walking down the course on the app is difficult”

“Overall, I am very pleased I have returned to the ARRCOS fold. I firmly believe that capturing my stats will lead to an improved handicap. I still feel though, that I find that I have to make more adjustments to each round than I should…and this has why I have only graded the product as 4 star.”

“Overall good results, I like the break down of shots and where I’m missing, (short, left, right, etc) the only minor issues has been the system has missed a few putts… but overall I’m very pleased with it. Thank you”

“I’m only 3 rounds in with these, but so far I am liking the results. I’ve only had one issue during one round where about 25% of my shots weren’t being registered so not sure if it was where my link was sitting on my belt or not. I am definitely liking not having to enter what club I am using like with other apps. I am definitely looking forward to getting my 5 rounds in to activate the caddy feature so once that starts up I may have an even better review.”

“Jury is still out on club distances. Not sure about the driver distances. Not sure how a short par 4 of 315 yards can be so far off. According to Arcos the hole measures correctly but when I land my drive and check with the range-finder it says I am 60 yards from the center but after the hole is complete I get credit for a 215 yard drive. This is only one example. I have spoken with a rep and they could not figure the issue either. Sometimes I have no issue even when it shows me having a short drive but there are several times during a round that I know I am hitting the ball further than I get credit for. Also I am not sure why as an example after I hit a 6 iron that shows as 165 on Arcos by the next hole the same shot dropped to 154. Maybe it is the course mapping but no one has offered an answer yet and I have contacted Arcos several times. No problem with 150 in however. However when I thought there was an issue with the link Arcos was very fast to replace it. I appreciate that. Customer service quick and responsive but not a lot of answers.”

“I think it is great. The only issue I have is when it doesn't register a shot. A chunk or some shots in the sand don't register. The only way to get the score right is to add putts, which inflates the putting stats.”
