“I have made LOADS of orders in the first 2 weeks of signing up. There are a lot of choices on the site, and some of them were healthy options that I would never pay full price for, so that has been a serious stockpiling opportunity. Other incentives are offered - stuff as little as 1p for eg, I have ordered loads of crisps and they have not been crushed. Quite a few tins, only 2 were dented. No breakages and every order but one (out of 9) exactly right. Unlike many people I do not have a problem with the delivery charges. They seem reasonable to me. I have left a star off because of the delivery style. You will see the 'shipping' indicator on the order 2-3 days after you make it, but there is no indication of when after that your stuff will arrive. You will probably receive a text from the delivery company, but it will likely not be accurate - my last parcel arrived before they said it would, fortunately I hadn't got round to taking the dogs out at that point .”

“Placed my 1st order with AF on Thursday. Was plesantly surprised when it arrived the following Tuesday! Much quicker than expected. The box was HUGE!! Although I knew (obviously) what i had ordered i was still shocked by how much there was!!! A lot of the stuff was also still well in date. Got a lot of treats for my family which will last for ages. I saved over £60 on RRP!! I will definitely be using AF again!! :)”

“I had my doubts, you know buying short dated goods etc but I was delighted with my purchases. This morning I awoke to the smell of freshly baked bread using my machine and one of the 8 bread mixes I had bought - 50p each! Delighted with the look, not tried it yet but definitely no problem with this item and it's best before date is actually middle of May and we've just gone into March. The packing had been carefully done and all 3 boxes were full to the brim and packed inside a larger box. Everything in place that I had ordered - no substitutes, this isn't like any online supermarket shopping I've ever done before. Heard about this site from Reduce your Supermarket spend on facebook and it was well worth the visit. I will be ordering again.”

“Since finding out about this great site I have rcommended it to several people. The products are always so good. Best before dates are different to use by dates. With best before the goods can still be eaten after the date stated. Occasionally an item will start to dry a little -like cakes/biscuits/breaded items but they are very edible. Approved foods give such a good value discount on not just foods, but toiletries, laundry items and more. The savings are great! I have saved loads of money purchasing from them and always get a good customer service too. IF an item is missing or gets broken a quick email to them and it is sorted fast with a credit given for you to use against your next order”

When it does arrive, the people who deliver are always very curtious and polite, the box is securely packed, with breakable items bubble wrapped and boxes inside the main box give it extra protection.
