“Our Bali experience was absolutely amazing! The planned activities were fantastic and really well organised, giving us the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation.
A huge thank you to our local guides, Ippy and Em, who were so helpful, friendly, and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time.
We had an incredible tour, met some amazing people, shared so many laughs, and made memories that will last a lifetime. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone thinking about visiting Bali!”

“Had a brilliant time on the 40 days SEA Journey. although some places were missed out that I would’ve liked to visit, a lot was covered in the time frame and a good amount of time was spent in each. All tour guides were very helpful and accommodating. Special mention to Bao in Vietnam and Lao in Laos - both were extremely knowledgeable, knowing lots about their country and always willing to answer any questions, and put in lots of effort to see us during the day/at night with our own plans. This really made our experience! Pear and Tiger were great too, very helpful. Hostels chosen were great, however the Mad Monkey in Phuket was extremely loud in all rooms and rather unclean, i left on the last night to stay somewhere else.
Would recommend this specific tour to any one wanting to group travel SEA.”

It’s fantastic to hear how much Bao and Lao added to your experience too. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to them. Great to hear Pear and Tiger were so helpful as well.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the hostel in Phuket. We’re sorry to hear this part of the trip did not meet expectations. We’ve passed this feedback on to our product team for review.
Thanks again for the recommendation and for travelling with us ✈️

“I really enjoyed the intro travel bali intro with Rio! all of the accommodation was perfect and Rio kept us all safe, informed and entertained throughout.
Gap360 was a good experience, however, we had some issues with poor accommodation and some guides slightly crossed the boundaries of being inappropriate - i mainly had an issue with Povan in Malaysia when he would make multiple inappropriate comments towards me specifically regarding wanting to date me whilst thinking i was 18 years old. i found this funny at first but throughout the days, this made me uncomfortable. he also took some photos of the girls on the group that i think was not necessary or appropriate. he then followed up by messaging us afterwards.
I would like to mention that we had a great time with mai in bangkok, may in south thailand & bao in vietnam.
We noticed a lot of activities were additional costs and at times i wandered what i’d paid for and how that cost added up.”
Hi Gaby,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really glad to hear you had such a great time in Bali and your guide Rio was incredible. We will be sure to pass on your kind words.
The safety and comfort of our travellers is our top priority, and your comments about your trip in Malaysia have been taken extremely seriously. We have escalated this with our local teams and would like to investigate this further to ensure it is properly addressed. We also appreciate your feedback around accommodation and additional costs. We aim to clearly outline what is included and provide guidance on budgeting.
Please do get in touch with our team directly so we can support you further and ensure this is fully looked into.
Many thanks,
“I had a great time on the 47 day South East Asia Adventure trip. All of my guides Mai, Lee, Hao, Bao, Lao, May, Povan and Yap made the experience unforgettable and I have had experiences that I’ll remember for a lifetime. Thank you to all the guides for showing me around Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore ❤️”

“This has been a great experience especially with May and Mai from Thailand, Povan from Malaysia and Bao from Vietnam. They are amazing tour guides who were caring, accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel safe during our trips.”
Hey,

“I was highly recommended gap 360 via a friend. I wanted to take some months out travelling South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia. I had a great 5 months travelling, many fantastic memories created with many great travellers I got to share my experiences with. Gap 360 themselves from booking this adventure of a lifetime to checking in and sorting out any issues were brilliant. Only issue I had was with the actual tour company Ultimate I had booked the Australia tour through Gap 360 with their lack of help and poor tour leadership experience but that’s not gap 360’s issue that’s ultimate’s problem themselves.”
Hi Philip,
Thank you for leaving a review. We really appreciate you travelling with Gap 360! We have passed your feedback on to the relevant team here to help improve our future trips.
We're glad you enjoyed travelling with us, and happy travels for the future!
“I’ve just completed a 40-day Southeast Asia adventure, and it was truly an incredible experience. We managed to see and do so much in such a short space of time, making memories that will last a lifetime.
A huge part of what made the trip so special was our amazing tour guides. Special shoutout to Lee in Cambodia, who went above and beyond to get to know every single one of us—even with a group of 23 people. He was funny, caring, and genuinely invested in making sure we all had the best experience possible. He made our time in Cambodia unforgettable.
Another thank you goes to Boa in Vietnam, who was always so kind and approachable. No question was ever too much, and he was always happy to help with anything we needed.
And what a way to finish the trip—with May in Thailand. She was incredibly supportive and always there for us, no matter the time of day or night. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she truly went the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Overall, the experience was amazing and something I would highly recommend. The only thing to be aware of is that while many activities are listed as part of the trip, quite a few require additional payment. Some of these optional activities are ones you really wouldn’t want to miss, so it’s worth factoring that into your budget when booking.”
Hey Grace,
Thank you for your lovely review. We're so glad to hear the tour was an incredible experience and that the tour guides made it so special. Thank you for recommending the tour and we love the amazing photos! We'll be sure to take your comment on board.
Hopefully see you on another tour soon! 🌏🐘
Best wishes
“I’ve just finished the 47-day South East Asia Adventure and honestly had such an amazing experience. Getting to visit so many different countries in one trip was incredible, and it’s a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time.
The local tour guides really made the trip. James, Linket, Povan, Mai and Bee were all amazing. They were so helpful, friendly, and always happy to go the extra mile. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their recommendations for food and things to do were super helpful!!
I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience multiple countries in one go. It’s perfect as a taster of South East Asia. However, if you’re someone who prefers to really get to know a country, a country specific tour would probably be better.
One small suggestion for improvement would be around the age range of the groups. 18–30 is quite broad, and as an older traveller I did sometimes feel a bit out of place. Most people were great, but there were a few moments where the difference in maturity showed, which could be a bit uncomfortable at times.
That said, I still had an incredible time and feel truly grateful to have experienced the diverse cultures of these amazing countries.”
Hey,
Thank you for your review and feedback. We're so glad you had an amazing time on our Southeast Asia Adventure tour and that the tour guides were so helpful on your travels. It's so lovely to hear you would recommend this tour!
We hope to see you on another tour again soon 🌏
Best wishes,

“I was on the 47 day South East Asia Journey starting on the 15th February in Bangkok. I throughly enjoyed the trip and the travel between countries is easy and seamless. This is a great way to get a taster for the countries you are visiting as I know I want to return to most already.
Started out in Bangkok with Pear as the first tour guide, her vibrant energy was a great start to the trip as we met the group for the first time.
Cambodia was next with Lee as our tour guide, he was involved in all the activities and provided great energy to the group. Cambodia was a place I did not know much about but fell in love very quickly. A highlight was Koh Rong Sanloem island and Ankor Wat sunrise. I felt there was a great mixture of culture (S21 Prison) and adventure in Cambodia. All the accommodation in Cambodia was great and felt very safe.
We then moved onto Vietnam where we met Ly our next tour guide. We first arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, the hostel as adequate but not the best that we have stayed in so far. I felt we did not need to spend as much time in Ho Chi Minh City and preferred to stay longer in Hoi An and Hanoi. A highlight was coconut boats in Hoi An and Ha Long Bay cruise. For the Ha Giang loop you do that in jeeps and unfortunately for us the weather was not on our side with it being rainy and cloudy the entire time, would recommend researching the best time of year for the loop to experience the scenery. Whilst on the loop one of the group members required rabies vaccinations which Ly the tour guide sorted out for the next day.
Loas was the shortest time spent in the country and felt we did not get the best out of our time there. I heard it was meant to be beautiful with natural scenery however the places we went to were very touristy. Neng our tour guide had a very hands off approach and did not recommend any extra activities around the area to do in our spare time and did not tell us much about the history and culture of Loas. Nonetheless the hike to the motorbike was great fun and at some points challenging with beautiful views at the top.
Back in Thailand to Chiang Mai first which was personally my favourite city of the trip felt there were lots to see and do such as the sticky waterfall, artist village and night markets, wish we could have spent longer. May our tour guide for Thailand was great she took us on a walking tour of Chiang Mai telling us the history of the city, she had great energy and helped when one of our group members required going to hospital. A highlight was Kho Phi Phi boat tour, which had opportunities to see Maya bay as well as great snorkelling and swimming. Kayaking through the mangroves in Krabi was also an amazing experience. The beach part of Thailand went very quick and wish we could spend longer in each place. Unfortunately the surfing in Phuket was cancelled due to not great surfing condition, however we were given options for a discount on another activity or to get a full refund for the surfing activity. May would give great restaurant recommendations as well as places to visit such as going to Railay Beach in Krabi.
Lastly Malaysia which was great surprise again as did not know much about Malaysia or its history. Povan our tour guide was great at telling us information about Malaysia in an engaging way. A highlight was the Batu caves the and Cameron Highlands. Felt there was a good mix of activities and sight seeing to relaxation time. Povan made our time in Malaysia great and definitely felt I got the most out of our short time there.
Overall the 47 day South east Asia journey is a great way to get a little snapshot of the countries you visit with a vast range of activities and sights to see. What I was initially taken back by was the amount of activities which you had to pay for. When reading through the trip itinerary it does not clearly state which activities are at an additional cost therefore my advice is to budget for extra activities. This did not dampen the experience overall was just an unexpected surprise.”
Hi, thank you so much for your review 😊 This feedback is really valuable to the team! We are always looking for ways to improve the trip and make the experience even more amazing. We will pass your lovely comments onto the guides 🙌

“I went on the 47 day east Asia adventure trip from February 15th to April 2nd. I have really enjoyed this trip, getting from country to country was a breeze with the help of our guides and as a solo female traveler I have felt safe and well looked after throughout.
Bangkok was short and sweet Pear our guide and brought a great energy for the beginning of our trip.
Cambodia was a hidden gem, I didn’t know what to expect prior to visiting having not heard much about the country, however it was great fun lots to do and some really poignant historical sights. Everyone we met there was so friendly and Lee our tour guide for this section was fantastic, he joined in with all of our activities, made sure everyone was safe and having fun and really made our experience in Cambodia.
We were in Vietnam for the longest, and had lots of activities standouts being the coconut boats and river boat tour. You could give Ho Chi Min a skip to spend more time in Han Noi and if you are particularly interested in the Hai Giang Loop look at the time of year you’re going as unfortunately for our group, many of the gorgeous views were obstructed by fog, cloud and rain, nevertheless it was still a great experience. Ly our guide gave us good recommendations for food and activities and was quick to aid a girl in our group to access rabies vaccinations while on the Hai Giang Loop.
Loas was unfortunately a lower point in the trip, I had heard lots of amazing things about Loas and the scenery but unfortunately because this section of the trip is so short, I felt we were unable to see as much of this as I would have liked, having only really seen one blue lagoon and one waterfall both of which were quite touristy compared to other natural sights we have seen in the trip. Additionally I felt we had the most hands off guide for this section, Neng, I’m sure for some this style of guiding would be preferred, however for my personal preference I would have preferred our guide to spend a bit more time with us and to tell us more about the local history and culture.
Thailand was amazing our guide May was a breath of fresh air, so energetic and joined in with our activities, we really enjoyed having her as our guide. The beaches we visited were stunning and it was amazing to snorkel with some gorgeous fish and see baby sharks. This part of the trip was the perfect amount of activities and leisure time for such a long trip.
Malaysia was a lovely more relaxing way to finish our trip. Sight seeing in the morning and leisure time in the afternoon, perfect to see the country and for us to rest after such a long trip! Povan our guide was great, super knowledgeable, kind and bubbly, he brought the fun back to quite a tired group, and could not do enough to make sure we were all accommodated.
Overall I have had a great experience with the trip and would recommend it to others, my only reservation would be how much of the trip is not included in the original cost. When booking I didn’t feel it was clear which activities were included in the cost of the booking and which were optional meaning we had to pay out of pocket when on the trip. I was quite surprised at how many activities were at an additional cost. For other people looking to book this trip I would recommend setting aside a grand or 2 for food and optional activities if you are wanting to make the most of your time on this trip. However overarchingly I have really enjoyed this trip with gap 360.”
Hi Georgia, thank you for your review! We're pleased to hear you felt safe and looked after throughout the trip. And it's great to know the guides added to the experience, we will pass your kind words on to them 😊 Thank you for your feedback, this is really valuable for the team, who are always looking to improve the trip experience!
“The idea of going with a group travelling is amazing, meeting new people is refreshing and exciting and the way they are strangers to you but quickly don’t become that is something so special. gap 360 have been great- when I mean that I mean the tour guides have been amazing and without them it obviously wouldn’t have been as good. The positives are that either way you have an amazing time and it’s well worth the money, the activities are great, however for how much you pay I do think there should be more included activities rather than at your own expense. I was wondering what my money had gone towards to be honest. And I also think that when we went to Thailand from laos, there should be more relaxing, less touristy places and islands that I would have hoped to have gone to, however we went to the Phi Phi Islands and Krabi. Both are pretty in ways, but the touristy parts are just not appealing for me personally. Our tour guides Lee, Alice, Povan, Pear and Sunshine were class and deserve more recognition as well as praise for what they do. I would say, I know it all adds up but for how much money people pay for this guided trip, I do think there should be more things included such as activities and food. Other than that, it’s been a blast and I’m so grateful for what I’ve been able to do to start 2026 off with.”
Hey Immy,

“I had an amazing experience on the Gap 360 Sri Lanka trip and could not recommend it enough. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, with a great mix of culture, adventure, wildlife and downtime. From exploring ancient temples and going on safari to scenic landscapes and beach time, every part of the trip felt well thought out and exciting.
Transport was mainly by coach, which we used for most journeys and was comfortable and well organised. One of the highlights was the scenic train journey to Ella, which was absolutely beautiful and a real bucket list experience, passing through lush green hills and tea plantations.
Our group leader, Maisie, was absolutely fantastic and truly made the trip what it was. She was organised, approachable and endlessly supportive, always making sure everyone felt included and comfortable. She struck the perfect balance between fun and professionalism and brought such positive energy to the group.
The trip can feel a little busy at times, but if you are someone who wants a full 12 days of authentic Sri Lanka, this is definitely the trip for you. One thing I was initially apprehensive about was the group dynamic, but it ended up being one of the best parts of the experience. Our group was really chilled, with a mix of different personalities and a few couples.
The age range on my trip was roughly 23–40, which I personally loved. Even though I was one of the youngest, I really enjoyed spending time with people who were slightly more mature.
A special highlight of the trip is the exclusive morning on the last day to meet and speak with young locals, or “monks”, which offers a unique insight into their lives and perspectives. There was also a nice blend of fun throughout the trip: we had a night out in Ella at a bar and club, and on the last night we went to a beach club, which was a perfect way to unwind and celebrate the trip.
The final few days were spent at a wellness resort, which was the perfect way to relax after a busy itinerary. If you enjoy Pilates and yoga, this place is definitely for you. I also squeezed in an extra surf lesson at Hiriketiya Beach, which was an amazing experience and well worth doing if surfing is your thing.
Accommodation and transport throughout were better than expected, and it was clear that Gap 360 has strong local connections and a real respect for the country. At the start of the trip, you go straight to Negombo from Colombo airport, which makes for an easy arrival. One tip I would give is to plan a few extra days after the trip if you can, either in Weligama for more beach time or Colombo for a city experience. Having a bit of downtime afterwards really helps you feel fully relaxed and recharged before heading home.
Sri Lanka itself is an incredible destination, and this trip was the perfect way to experience it. I made lifelong friends, felt safe and supported throughout, and came home with unforgettable memories. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone considering Gap 360.
I would give it a 4 out of 5, I feel the tour was very lovely the only downside is make sure you check properly when you are booking as we didn’t see the Sigiriya Rock due to the rain, at times it felt quite full on only having one night somewhere. I would have liked spending an extra chill day in the south although I feel the itinerary was great and really well planned sometimes it felt quite tiring, our leader Maisie deserves a solid 5/5 she was very organised, she always made sure the group felt, were well catered for and were included and safe.”
Hey Lauren,
Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review, and for all the lovely images from your trip! 😊
We’re thrilled to hear you had an amazing experience on the Sri Lanka trip and that the itinerary hit the perfect balance of culture, adventure, wildlife, and relaxation.
Maisie will be delighted to hear your kind words she truly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels supported, safe, and included, so it’s wonderful to see that recognised and we will be sure to pass this on.
It’s fantastic that you made lifelong friends and returned home with unforgettable memories. Thank you again for recommending us so highly and providing such valuable feedback.
We hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Southeast Asia Adventure/Journey - we have done so much in such a short space of time, I feel real privileged to have been on it. It is full on, there’s not a lot of down time to relax because you don’t want to miss out on any activities and sight-seeing. It hasn’t always been perfect, I do feel like Gap360 have been quite deceiving with what is included in the trip - we found that more often than not the daily activities were all ‘optional’ meaning we had to pay on the spot even more than the cost of the trip (so not included, which would be disappointing, some up to £50). The tour guides were all mostly very good, the ones who specifically stood out to me were Mai & May (Thailand), Viet (Vietnam) and Neng (Laos), they were really excellent guides that you could tell really cared about their countries. But all in all, I would say this trip has given me some of the best memories and some nice friends too!!”

“Great experience. Great places and great people. The tour guides are a credit to the company. Biggest criticism would be to have longer in certain places as well as having more included activities in the package price which was paid for the tour. The activities included were noticeably cheaper.”

“Messaged gap 360 and was told they don’t respond on weekends which i don’t understand as people travel every day of the week so I needed a response for some information in order to fill out a Thailand digital arrival card which also they didn’t inform me I needed to have completed before I land in Thailand however no response and their helpline wasn’t open however intro for my Vietnam and Cambodia tour was amazing 10/10 staff a 24/7 helpline and both my leaders Leo and Sel were amazing and made my experience so much better and memorable”
Hey Ruby,

“The South East Asia Journey trip was truly life changing! I genuinely met friends who I will keep in contact with and enjoyed getting stuck in at every single moment. Most of the tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Most of the activities were well organised and super fun. Gap360 really helped to take away the stress of travelling and I would totally recommend it to any other young person wanting to go on an extended trip abroad. The only improvements I would make is that I felt some of the hostels were not up to the standard I would have hoped and I found some of the included meals challenging as a person with a food intolerance.”
Hey,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and incredible photos of your trip! 🌏✨ We’re thrilled to hear that the South East Asia Journey was life-changing and that you made friends you’ll stay in touch with. It’s wonderful to know that the activities and tour guides made the trip so enjoyable and stress-free! 🎉
