“Bohnanza, or just The Bean Game to me, is a great quick game for three to five players. Growing and trading beans is great fun, hoping to get a good deal so you don't have to harvest too early! Love the game, really quick to learn and fun. Good to stick in a pocket or a bag and play in the pub”

“Bean capitalism. Simple at first, then the layers of fun reveal themselves.”

“Simple game with a low skill floor but not a particualrly high skill ceiling. Can be played quite quickly and is quite humourous. Wish there was a little more complexity to it - as with all games that involve trading it can reduce to a situation where nobody is trading if you have a cautious group, which is less fun, but perhaps sensible.”
