“After a first 4-player game I'm entertained but not enthralled as expected. This is a deliberate slow-paced engine builder akin to Everdell, with limited player interaction and VP scoring at the end of the game. A lot of work has been invested in not only imagining, but describing the dragons and their traits and a separate full colour compendium was a delightful addition for my youngest. (Incidentally our first game finished with a 93 Vs 92 1st / 2nd place split although neither player was aware it was so close).”

“Wyrmspan is an amazingly beautiful game. Similar to wingspan but slightly different in mechanics however it still seems a very good system. So far we have really enjoyed playing it.”

“I was very excited when the game arrived and it didn't disappoint. I'm a Wingspan fan. This game has similarities but it plays differently and it has a fresh feel to it, so it's lovely to see that this is not just a copy of the Wingspan game with dragons instead of birds. Beautiful design visually. Straight away it's jumped to the front of our family's many favourites.”

“Love wingspan and worried that it would be to similar, but the mechanics are different which makes for great alternative. Love the fact that the element of luck of the dice rolls has been removed.”

“Wingspan is my favourite game, and Wyrmspan is a nice update to the familiar formula. The art style is beautiful and the gameplay is easy to pick-up with enough complexity to make future playthroughs as interesting and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.”
