“I had the original Carcassonne board game with the Princess and Dragon expansion. We play on a regular basis and the pieces we getting worn so I decided to buy the Big box and the Dragon and Fairy expansion. To play with all 11 expansions and the Dragon and Fairy takes a good couple of hours but for shorter games, we just play with a few expansions and leave some others in the box. It is easy to mix and match favourite add-ons to vary the length of the game. The rules for the dragon have changed since earlier versions but I really like the new gameplay and think this makes a superb addition to the Carcassonne Big Box.”

“The Carcassonne Big Box is such a great collection of expansions for an already amazing game. If you're into Carcassonne it's a great value. I do kinda wish you could get the "Big Box" with only the box and expansions for those who already own the base game, because you'll end up with a duplicate of the original if that's what you started with, but even then, the "Big Box" still gives you 11 expansions for far less than the price you'd pay for each individually, especially when a place like Zatu puts it on sale. I'm tempted to just mix the original game tiles in to extend the game even further, but that's at conflict with my love of playing things the way they're designed! I guess I can gift the original box to a friend, maybe?”

“I wanted the river expansion and this was the only way I could find it. It was however worth it with all the expansions nicely organised and space for even more”
