“Patchwork is a gentle game for two players. Good to play with kids (under 8) because there's not much strategy and generally both players can leave each other alone. Really easy to teach and quick to play (20-30 minutes a game)”

“Patchwork is a great cosy game for 2 players. Perfect to play with a cup of tea. Despite its chill aesthetic, Patchwork can be brutal. This is not a game where you will come out scoring a lot of points. In fact the winner of Patchwork might win with minus points. This is because players must choose certain quilt pieces to put in their 9x9 grid. Any empty space left at the end of the game loses you points, so its important to fit the quilt pieces in snugly. Its like playing a game of Tetris against an opponent. The peaceful part of this game comes from its drafting element. As the game goes on you will be able to draft pieces to add to your board which is always nice... until you get a piece you don't want! Patchwork is a perfect 2 player game, it will challenge but also comfort players.”
