“Great game, really quick and simple to play once you get the hang of it. The idea is similar to cluedo in regards to a suspect, place and a weapon but there the similarity ends as this is a card game, there are 4 mini boards to put your counters on but it is not a traditional playing board. One of you plays as the ghost who gives out random clues throughout the game to try and help the other players solve the case. This is a cooperative game, you either all solve the case or not. The artwork is amazing on this game and really sets the tone.”

“Mysterium is a pretty unique experience. Players are working together to solve a murder, but the person giving clues is the victim. Unfortunately being dead they can only communicate in strange visions. In gameplay this means the ghost player will pass gorgeously drawn cards to players for them to interpret. From these cards players will try to guess the who, the how and the where of the murder. A brilliant co-op game.”

“Mysterium is a fantastic co-operative game and a wonderful intriduction to non-traditional board games Loosely based around the same idea as Cluedo, it charges players with the responsibilty of discovering the culprit, place, and weapon involved in a murder where players assume the role of a psychic receiving mysterious visions from a ghost (also played by a member of the group). “Such a different game. I play this with my 12 year old and we both love it. It's MUCH better with more players, but the uniqueness of the gameplay has us hooked. The items in the box are all fantastic and it seems like a lot of game for the price.”
