The artwork put me off for a while. It looks pretty bland, dare I say dull, but the gameplay is brilliant. The simple mechanic of picking a pair of tiles, one animal and one territory, offers a really interesting decision and the fact that there are so many ways to score makes the game a fascinating puzzle without being too heavy.

Wow, what a game. You are drafting a new terrain and animal each turn and trying to match them to various scoring objectives. The games scoring has two clever phases. 1st you score for the animals objectives which changes from game to game, then you score for your largest group of terrains. Bonus points are awarded to the player with the largest group of each category. Looks simple and is easy enough to teach but there is a lot of hidden game beneath the surface. Highly recommended.

Cascadia is an amazing game. Very quick and easy to teach, but allows an strong strategic approach. This game will see a lot of play over the years!

We bought an excellent game: Cascadia Glad we got it, because it was out of stock for a while Same day we played it and all were very enthusiastic. Girl, 9 years old wants to play it again, but she must go to bed ;-)

Peaceful play, laying tiles and adding animals into habitat! Can become a little insular if you don't consciously watch what other people are doing and try to mitigate their strategies. Works 2, 3 & 4 player. Beautiful components, satisfying wooden tokens, nice art work. Good replayability provided with the different options for point scoring.

Short but replay-able animal park drafting game. I like games without too much hate drafting and you’ll be too focused making a good habitat for your animals that the game will be over long before you get the chance.
