“Teamwork makes the dream work… or else you will sink to the bottom of the ocean and leave a priceless treasure behind, dooming everyone on your squad! This is a great little co-op game, it feels very tight and fast paced. Unlike some co op games it is absolutely essential that EVERY turn is discussed as a committee!”

“Forbidden Island is the perfect entry into co-op games and really helps to introduce the idea of damage limitation and working together to fight against the game. Each turn you get to do your actions and then the game does a bad thing to you, you and your team must band together and fight against this to keep yourselves afloat.”

“Great start to the Forbidden series of games, and the simplest to play and win. Well made parts and card artwork is superb. There is replay ability due to the board tiles being placed in a different order and playing as different characters every game. Should be suitable for younger players too”

“This is a great family weight co-operative game. The rules are pretty simple and so even younger members of the family can join in. I love the mechanic of turning over the tiles as they sink, it creates a really fun tension and the treasures are great little plastic pieces that makes collecting them feel powerful.”
