“This was my first day of this kind playing music with total strangers so I had no idea what expect , Dan did an incredible job right from the start, excellent joining instruction including pre day music to learn and location, followed by creating a WhatsApp group for easy communication. Then the actual day had all the equipment needed and once started a well organised day followed. Wish I could make the next jam day but work commitments prevent me , but rest assured I will be trying to get a place soon”

“Bristol July 2022 I had only played in front of my guitar tutor and was very apprehensive about playing with others. Dan immediately put us all at ease and we were able to play at our own level and got lots of encouragement to play along to the tracks we had been sent in advance and one surprise on the day. We got individual feedback too. It was a really enjoyable day and would certainly recommend booking a session. I have another session arranged in November and very much look forward to that. Thank you Dan.”

“I attended a Jam Day in Manchester and it was a fantastic experience. The event provided an opportunity to meet other people on YGA courses and to challenge myself by playing live with other people. It was a big step for me as I am not an advanced player and have experienced some anxiety about playing in front of others. Leading up to the Jam Day, I received a lot of reassurance about learners at all levels being welcome and able to contribute to and benefit from the day. The day itself was well-structured but also relaxed and friendly. Dan put a lot of energy into creating rapport within the group and also into providing feedback to each person. It was a great learning experience and helped me to overcome my anxiety and also feel renewed energy for the guitar learning journey. I highly recommend attending a YGA Jam Day for anyone who would like to meet other people on the same journey and experience playing live with others!”
