He's incredibly patient and has a real talent for breaking things down into simple, understandable steps. If I struggled with anything, he always found a different way to explain or approach it until it clicked. I've made excellent progress in my playing, and one of the best parts was that lessons were always tailored to my own goals and interests. “Thomas is a very good coach and the lessons have greatly improved my guitar playing. I look forward to the lessons each week. I didn't come from a musical background but everything has been well explained and broken down for me to practice at home. Thanks to the lessons I have greater confidence playing the guitar and it has become an enjoyable part of my life.”

“I had online guitar lessons with Kiall for quite a while, and I can't recommend him enough. He is incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging, which made every lesson enjoyable. One thing I really appreciated was how much effort he put into teaching me the music I actually wanted to play. I was mostly interested in learning Children of Bodom songs, which aren't exactly beginner pieces, but he never dismissed my requests. Instead, he took the time to break down the songs into manageable parts, explained techniques clearly, and always adapted the lessons to my skill level. He genuinely cared about my progress and was always happy to answer questions, repeat things as many times as needed, and celebrate the small improvements along the way. His positive attitude and passion for teaching kept me motivated to practice, even when the songs were very challenging. If you're looking for a guitar teacher who is patient, supportive, and willing to tailor lessons to your musical interests, I wholeheartedly recommend him. I'm very grateful for everything he taught me and for making learning guitar such a fun and rewarding experience. I can't wait to start taking lessons with him again!”

“My experience with Kiall has been top notch. He has helped me develop more than the previous teachers in way less time. I can do scales, chords, multiple strum patterns and several solos. I would definitely take this route again. If you are considering a teacher I would recommend giving this group a go. No matter the time zone or nation, you won't be dissapointed.”

“Thomas takes a considered approach balancing practice with appropriate theory. He makes the lessons enjoyable, taking on board my ability and goals. He gets his knowledge across in a style that I can both understand and absorb. Overall Thomas has enabled me to learn in a structured fashion at a pace that suits me but ensures I progress.”

“If you're looking for a guitar teacher who will completely change your musical journey, you need to look up Franco. Honestly, our lessons are the absolute highlight of my week. What makes Franco so incredible is his intuition. He has this perfect sense of exactly when to push you to the next level, and when to back off so you can catch your breath and lock a concept in. On top of that, he is incredibly patient, which makes learning feel completely stress-free. Learning to play the guitar has been a lifelong dream of mine, and Franco is helping me turn that dream into a reality. If you have the chance to learn from him, take it. He’s the best.”

“I have just completed 10 one-to-one lessons with YGA. My tutor was Gonsalo and he has been amazing. Not only is he an inspirational guitarist but he is super chilled, encouraging, approachable and his teaching method just works. It's almost under the radar how he helps you get better but with a little bit of practice I've gone from only dreaming of playing the full Metallica Fade to black full solo at 100% to actually being able to play it. I've since, learnt so many other songs with relative ease and the fundamentals are better. My timing, improvisation, technique - it's all improved so much. I've been playing for many years and have never had a break through like this. I have a very busy job, two under 4 year old children so I couldn't have progressed without the direction of Gonsalo. I have also had a very good experience from the rest of the YGA team especially Ollie. I feel I have a very strong radar for BS but I can promise you, YGA, Ollie and especially Gonsalo, just love guitar and want you to grow as a player. A great company, couldn't recommend highly enough.”
