“The hydrarib straps are very good - a little bit more fiddly to fit to the octopod buckle and needs a bit more tweaking to get the fit right (no stretch) - but worth it”

“I purchased the octopod straps and buckles to use on several watches. This is the first time I gave these a try. I was pleasantly surprised of how well the straps and buckles are made. They are also comfortable to wear. This strap in black is non elastic and a bit stiffer than the elastic ones. I actually like this style a bit more as it seems to be more durable and holds it's shape better than the elastic style. The downside is that adjusting to get the right size was not as easy to do with this strap compared to the other style. What could make these straps better and even more comfortable is by tapering them. For Example. 22mm through the middle tapering on each end to 20mm. This would give you the option to still use the lug width you need for your watch but use a smaller clasp at the end for more comfort.”
