“Great value for money. They only downside is although it is a mystery box, they could make sure You get at least one strap of each type (apex,hydrarib,stretch,perlon) so You can see which type You like the best to order more.”

“I really like the OctoPod system and the gift pack was a great way to try some different options. For my taste, the elastic ones are a bit too stretchy. After trying the various styles, the HydroRib is my favorite.”

“The idea of one clasp and many straps is awesome. I wanted to try it for a long time, but the price of the clasp is a little bit higher than I want to spare. Yet came the offer of few NOS Mk2, so I purchased both 20 and 22 mm, together with mystery box of straps. The clasp - great finish, but some edges are a little sharper. One must pay attention when closing the clasp, as sometimes when you press it from upperside, the two pieces "bend" and it's slightly more difficult to close it to "click". But when you find the right way, it's easy. Adjusting the correct length is at the beginning a little time consuming, but when you master it, it's fast and easy... The straps - well, I know what mystery box is... The strap material is OK, I've got mostly the elastic ones, and they wear great. But there could have been also the other styles. And for colours? I got 3 (out of 8) almost the same (blue with orange stripes). Well I know - mystery box, and for that price I can live with that... Anyway - I don't regret, would buy again. I'm gonna order some more colours and styles...”

“This system is just what I was looking for. Always loved fabric and elastic straps as a solution, but HATED the way the long end of NATO straps had to be tucked in. Hated the look, hated the feel. But the OCTOPOD solution is AMAZING and it completely solves the negatives of traditional NATO straps. Top quality and lots of choices. Yes, they are a little pricey, but SO WORTH IT.”
