“Lovely buckle, really simple but clever adjustable strap and a great alternative to a NATO strap with a lower profile for with dress shirts/ cuff links. Straps are great quality, biggest problem is the variety of choice, lots of decisions!”

“Octopod MKIII Sandblasted with Conker Brown leather, Damasko DS30 and curved springbars. A tough installation due to the short lug length, but adding the aftermarket curved springbars did the trick. Standard springbars can be used with this strap/watch combo, but it was exceedingly tight against the case. I haven't found any "QR" curved springbars, as this would have made installation a breeze. My only other gripe would be that there are no color options in Octopod leather straps. Should at a minimum be a black strap. Sandblasted finish on the clasp pairs perfectly with the Damasko tegimented case.”

“The original OctoPod clasp was potentially problematic for those of use with small wrists. The revised version has a more compact appearance, but its size on the wrist is the same as the original. The base of the clasp does have less curvature in the new version, so it lies flatter against the wrist. In my case, with a 15cm wrist circumference, I was able to get a comfortable fit, but just barely. My wrist cross section is quite eccentric, sothe clasp migh not work for those with smaller or more circular wrists. Another factor to be aware of is that the two parts that make up the base of the clasp have a tendancy to pinch the skin when closing, so some care is warranted. Other than those two concerns, though, the clasp is very well made. It fastens securely, seems very unlikely to open accidentally, and yet is easy to release when needed.”
