Hi Didi,Congratulations for taking the steps towards plastic free living! It can be a bit scary to use our razors initially as we are all so used to the plastic guards and lightness of safety razors. We were all a bit nervous on our first use too as the razor weight does take a bit to adjust to. But we have to say, we absolutely love ours now and definitely wouldn't go back.
