“Finally got round to trying the low crab spag. It's interesting, shall we say. Had to double check the cook time on the pack (12-15mins) as after that time it was still pretty 'al dente'. Gave it 5 mins more - it was done, but don't expect flexible spaghetti, it has a certain stiffness unlike standard spag. However, the taste is good, it's filling (I used about 75g dry weight) and it does the job. It has a bit more substance than konjac alternatives and bags more fibre (yay!). Personally would buy again, and I recommend it, but if you do try it, don't be surprised by the firmer, stiffer texture.”
