“I found the First 7 tower to be somewhat unstable. There is nothing in the design to stop the tower skewing, not by much but enough to be disconcerting. The diagonal braces are not very substantial and one developed a bend in it during construction of the tower. I'm not sure I would want to use the tower at full height unless it was a perfectly still day. Any wind and the tower moves dramatically. It is OK for occasional use but I regret buying it now.”

“Perfect item for painting and maintaining my house. The only drawback are the supplied wheels at one end which makes it cumbersome and awkward to move particularly over uneven ground. I overcame this by fitting 4 large robust castors near each corner and this makes it very easy to move. Whilst the castors do have brakes it is easier to chock up each of the corners with short plank end thereby lifting the castors off the ground and levelling the tower at the same time, particularly if on uneven ground. To highlight the lightweightedness of the structure it was interesting to note that mine blew over during recent high winds (fortunately uphill so no damage), so it should definitely not be used in windy weather!”
