“The case it good quality. It has a little lidded compartment for spare blades. The outer latches work nicely and smoothly. There is even a hole for attaching a padlock. The whole thing feels robust. Fits the tool nicely. A lot of the spare space in the case has been allocated for batteries and a charger. There even seems to be a dedicated space for the instruction manual to live. I would personally have preferred some of this space to allow for extra blade storage...I have a few makita tools, so already have storage for batteries and chargers separate to this... I recently bought some curved pruning blades for this tool, which I appreciate is not its primary purpose. These were too long to fit in the dedicated blade storage, but every other type of blade I have fits in OK. So the blade storage could have been bigger, but I'm still pleased with it overall. One of the few makita tools I own that won't fit in a standard makpac, but still wanted a case for it.”
