Very Informative and factual. Will definitely be paying more attention to muscle condition scoring when looking at prognosis and helping to care for a patient in hospital. As you said, a lot of things we do actually know, but have never really paid attention to before (cats eating pelleted foods will prefer pelleted food in hospital). Only one thing you could maybe add: how to give horrible tasting meds to cats with poor appetite?? Don't want to put them off by trying to hide it in chicken, then they don't want chicken afterwards, syringe feeding bad tasting meds just makes them nauseous. Don't want to fight with post-op cats by giving tablets, is there any other option?
